Selena Gomez Desperately Wants Out Of Rehab As She Fights Depression, Will She Return To The Disney Channel?

Selena Gomez has been in rehab for several weeks, but will she soon return home?

For the past couple of weeks, Selena Gomez has been faced with rumors claiming she is desperate to leave rehab as she continues to treat symptoms of Lupus, which include anxiety, depression, and panic attacks.

According to one of the latest reports, shared by iTech Post on November 4, it is noted that Selena Gomez “feels like hell” and hates the Tennessee treatment center she’s been living at since announcing the end of her tour. As the outlet explained, In Touch Weekly previously revealed that Selena Gomez’s family and friends had grown concerned about the singer’s mental state and just wanted to get her help.

Selena Gomez revealed she was ending her Revival World Tour months early in August with a statement to fans about her mental health concerns.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Selena Gomez told the magazine in a statement. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

“I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support. You know how special you are to me, but I need to face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best. I know I am not alone by sharing this, I hope others will be encouraged to address their own issues,” she continues.

What Selena Gomez didn’t reveal was whether or not her canceled tour dates would be rescheduled.

Selena Gomez’s announcement was made just two weeks after the singer and her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, were involved in an Instagram fight over a photo was shared of his then-girlfriend Sofia Richie.

Last month, Us Weekly magazine revealed Selena Gomez was receiving treatment at a facility outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

“Selena is dealing with lupus, but this break is to focus on her mental health,” a source close to the pop star told the magazine. “She can go to a very dark place.”

According to the insider, the facility was described as a “private and quiet place,” but “super intense.”

The magazine also revealed details from outings in the area. As the outlet told readers, Selena Gomez enjoyed a dinner date with her mother and stepfather in early October at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Alcoa, Tennessee before having breakfast with her grandparents the following morning.

While having dinner at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant, Selena Gomez was extremely gracious with fans and posed for several photos and video clips with her fellow patrons and staff members of the restaurant.

In other Selena Gomez news, a rumor has hit the web claiming Gomez may be headed back to the Disney Channel. Although the network hasn’t confirmed any such thing, Stuck in the Middle star Jenna Ortega recently named Gomez in a list of potential guest stars for her series. As fans will recall, Selena Gomez made a name for herself years ago while starring on the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place.
