Are Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Heading For A Split Or A Wedding?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been dating for about a year and while they have yet to announce plans to wed, there have been swirling rumors about their allegedly impending wedding for months. Now, however, a new rumor has surfaced claiming the couple may be on the verge of a split due to a dispute over their prenup.

According to the latest report, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may not make it down the aisle because Stefani is allegedly “at her wit’s end” as she attempts to make a prenuptial agreement with Shelton, who is reportedly refusing to take the idea seriously.

On October 30, Celebrity Dirty Laundry shared a report by Life & Style Weekly, which suggested that despite Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton being “madly in love,” their financial dispute could break them up.

As the magazine’s insider explained, Gwen Stefani is very stressed as she makes sure she will be financially protected if she and Shelton were to divorce after tying the knot. Meanwhile, Shelton is willing to give her everything and isn’t too concerned about the ins and outs of a prenup.

“[Gwen Stefani] has to protect herself, her children and her finances before she ultimately ties the knot with Blake Shelton,” Celebrity Dirty Laundry explained to readers. “She can’t afford to risk any potentially bad moves and that’s why she wants to make sure her prenup with Blake is as solid as she can expect. And considering that Blake is taking it no where as seriously as she is has most definitely taken a toll on their relationship.”

Prior to her relationship with Shelton, Gwen Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale and the former couple shares three children together, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2, all of whom will be taken into account when it comes to a future marriage between Stefani and Shelton.

Continuing to readers, the outlet suggested that if Shelton is taking his prenup lightly, Gwen Stefani may have a good reason to worry about how he will handle their financial state once they get married. The outlet also noted that due to her first divorce from Rossdale, Gwen Stefani needs to be careful when it comes to getting involved in another marriage.

“[Gwen Stefani] is slowly realizing that they do have very little in common, making it hard for her to decide if they should move forward with their wedding plans,” the site explained.

Just a couple of months ago, a Life & Style Weekly report claimed Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were in the midst of planning a wedding and noted that Stefani’s three sons would be involved in the ceremony.

“Apollo wants to be the ring bearer, and the two older boys will be junior groomsmen with Blake,” an insider told the magazine in August. “Blake wants it to be really special, to show them coming together as a family.”

“They’re planning a December wedding at Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma, because [Gwen Stefani] and the boys love it there and it will give them a lot of privacy.”

In other Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton news, Stefani is set to return to The Voice next year for the NBC series’ 12th season. Although Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys are currently starring alongside Shelton in Season 11, Stefani will rejoin her boyfriend in the coming months for the show’s upcoming spring installment.

The Voice Season 11 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
