Mariah Carey And James Packer Update: Are They Seeing Their Exes?

Mariah Carey and James Packer recently went through a breakup and they have been rumored to be getting close to their exes.

Mariah Carey was reportedly seen together with her two children and ex-husband Nick Cannon. Woman’s Day magazine claims that they attended a Halloween party together over the weekend. A report from the Daily Telegraph stated that James Packer is doing business with his ex-wife Jodhi Meares and that he recently invested $800,000 into her business. Packer parted ways with Meares in 2012, but they remained close despite their split. Mariah was allegedly angered by the fact that they were still close, according to Woman’s Day.

Mariah Carey’s manager, Stella Bulochnikov, is also thought to have caused some tension between Mariah and James Packer. The 46-year-old superstar recently posted an Instagram photo of her with Bulochnikov shortly after claims that Packer does not like the friendship between the two women.

“He cannot tolerate [Stella’s] dictator style. She’s a constant in their lives and can be very abrasive. He can’t cop her at all,” stated the tabloids.

Following the reports by Woman’s Day, Mariah Carey’s representatives opened up to the media revealing that there was trouble in paradise. They also revealed that the superstar was not sure whether her relationship with James would survive the rough waves. There was also a report that the two had a fight while on a visit to Greece. The statement revealed that the two have not been together since then.

“The fight was not because of cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah. James is one of the most successful businessmen in the world,” read the statement.

The Mariah and James split sparked rumors of rekindled interest in their exes, but that is yet to be confirmed. Nick Cannon previously stated that Mariah will always be the love of his life, thus suggesting that he is still interested in her. The fact that they were also seen together at the Halloween party also fueled speculations as to whether there is renewed interest. However, it might just be that they were having quality time with their children and does not signify that they might be together. As for Packer, the fact that he funded his ex-wife’s business might just highlight a business partnership and the already existing friendship between the two. It is also not clear whether they are dating each other again.

Other evidence against the claims of Mariah getting back with Nick Cannon has also surfaced. She was recently spotted in Los Angeles with a backup dancer named Bryan Tanaka accompanying her just days after parting ways with Packer. The paparazzi managed to take some photos of the two at the Catch restaurant. Tanaka is thought to be one of the causes of tension in Mariah and James’ relationship. However, one of the sources familiar with the two claims that Mariah and Tanaka are just friends and are not romantically involved.

Mariah did not cheat but it seems she is not letting her breakup get the better of her. She has been taking the opportunity to have fun which is good because it will help take the edge off. Mariah and James got engaged earlier this year, and she received a pricey engagement ring worth millions of dollars. The two were also planning to tie the knot before the end of the year. It is not clear whether she will have to return the ring. However, there are rumors that they are both trying to work things out. Amid rumors of their exes getting back into the picture, Mariah Carey, and James Packer are expected to soon release an update to reveal the official direction of their relationship.
