Model Amber Rose Bares It All On Social Media To Promote Annual SlutWalk Gathering

TV personality Amber Rose managed to raise both interest and further criticism of her annual pro-feminism gathering, the SlutWalk, by posting a completely nude image of herself on social media.

A post made by the talk show host, model, and author of 2015's How to Be A Bad B***h on Twitter Saturday morning, displayed the 33-year-old Rose seductively lying on a set of stairs with the lower half of her body completely exposed, save for a pair of seemingly high-end, crystal encrusted high-heels.

Rose additionally included the link of the official SlutWalk website, along with the hashtag, "#amberoseslutwalk," in the Twitter posting.

The image, which cannot be displayed directly on the Inquisitr, can be viewed here. Please be advised that it is extremely NSFW (An alternate link to the image can be accessed here).

Now entering its third year, Rose's event -- themed around the notion of taking back the word "slut" from those who shame sexually liberated individuals with the term, and retooling it as a title of pride -- has received heavy criticism, most notably from men, who feel that Amber's SlutWalk promotes sexual promiscuity, among other things.

"We recognize that shaming, oppression, assault and violence have disproportionately impacted marginalized groups including women of color, transgender people and sex workers, and thus we are actively working to center these groups in this event," a statement on the Rose's SlutWalk's website reads of the movement.

"We deeply value the voices of marginalized groups and have a strong desire to find common ground among all of our intersections."
Rising to prominence on the arm of rapper Kanye West in the late 2000's, Rose, a former stripper, managed to obtain her own celebrity status first through her oft-photographed sense of style, then as a media sensation of sorts, thanks to her marriage to hip-hop heavyweight Wiz Khalifa in July 2013.

The two would part ways a little more than a year later, in September of 2014, but remain close and share custody of a son, 4-year-old Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, or "Bash."

Since her split from Khalifa, Rose has taken on several aspects of entertainment and media, including a co-chair on the reintroduced version of Loveline, a 90's talk radio show-turned-online podcast with Amber and sex therapist Dr. Chris Donaghue; and The Amber Rose Show, a VH1 celebrity chat fest, in 2016 (the network declined to air the second season, as Deadline explained).

Initially conceived in Canada in 2011, Rose carried the SlutWalk over to the states four years later after strongly relating to the message of the movement, which centered on a deputy's reported comment regarding a set of rapes that transpired on the campus of Canada's York University, that same year: "Women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized."

"Women in Toronto, outraged by the comment," CNN explains, "took to the streets [of the Canadian city] dressed in lingerie and skimpy clothing, to spread the message that women should not be subject to sexual violence regardless of what they're wearing."

"The notion soon spread," they go on to say, "and SlutWalks now occur year-round across the globe."

As it just so happened to occur, Amber's very first SlutWalk, held in L.A.'s Pershing Square in 2015, came in a week that saw of her famous exes, West and Khalifa, trash Rose openly in a radio interview and a song, respectively.

Nonetheless, an emotional Amber still went on to appear at the SlutWalk, where she used her opening speech to publicly forgive them both.

"I wanna forgive Kanye for what he said about me. I wanna let all of that negativity go," she said, before adding that she and Wiz had made up beforehand, behind-the-scenes, as Access Hollywood notes.
"People are ignorant and you have to be the bigger person and be the positive person to forgive and move on and help other people around you that have been through the same thing."
Amber Rose's 3rd annual SlutWalk event is scheduled for this September.
