Allison Bridges and Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson expecting a child

Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson and partner Allison Bridges are expecting their first child. Robinson used to be married to actress Kate Hudson and is the father of her five-year-old son Ryder.

According to US Magazine, Robinson’s rep confirmed the story, saying that the pair “will welcome their first child in early 2010.”

Hudson and Robinson split up after 6 years of marriage in 2006, with Kate taking up with a range of men since, including Yankee’s player Alex Rodriguez.

Robinson’s 12th album, Before the Frost… Until the Freeze, hit stores last week.
