One Direction: Liam Payne & Cheryl Make Marriage A ‘Priority’ Amid Pregnancy Rumors

Liam Payne and girlfriend Cheryl are allegedly making getting married a “priority” as the pregnancy rumors continue to swirl around the couple.

According to reports, now that Cheryl’s divorce from former husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini is final, Payne is preparing to pop the question to Cheryl and wants to be married before the two potentially welcome a baby into the world.

Cheryl and Liam have still yet to officially confirm if Cheryl is pregnant with the couple’s first child, though Now Magazine is claiming that the two, who are thought to have begun dating in December of 2015, are about to become parents and want to get married before they welcome their bundle of joy into the world.

A One Direction source alleged to the magazine that Liam has made getting married to Cheryl his “utmost priority” now that she’s officially divorced from Fernandez-Versini and allegedly “bought an engagement ring weeks ago” in order to propose to his allegedly pregnant girlfriend sooner rather than later.

“[Liam’s] old-fashioned enough to want any baby to have a mom and dad who are married,” a source revealed of Payne amid the unconfirmed rumors claiming that Cheryl is pregnant.

“It is absolutely essential to him that in the future his children’s surname on a birth certificate is Payne,” continued the source, adding that if Cheryl and Liam do get married, “the wedding is going to be something to behold.”

According to the magazine, despite neither Cheryl nor Liam confirming an impending wedding, an insider claimed that Cheryl, who has been married twice before, wants to “make a statement” when it comes to her potential third wedding with the One Direction star and will be pulling out all the stops should she marry Payne.

“[Cheryl’s] determined to make a statement this time around,” the magazine’s source said of Cheryl as the pregnancy rumors continued to swirl around her and Payne. “[She] has her heart set on a beach wedding or a private island.”

Cheryl and Liam Payne have both stayed seriously tight-lipped amid the rampant pregnant claims, and Payne has not spoken out about rumors claiming he’s getting ready to propose. However, Liam did make his feelings for Cheryl pretty clear in a sweet Instagram post on October 24.

Payne took to Instagram to let the world know that he’s thinking about Cheryl amid rumors she’s pregnant, seemingly posting a sweet message to the former Girls Aloud singer on the social media site.

Payne posted a black and white shot of a board to the photo sharing site, which read, “The only lie I ever told you is that I liked you when I already knew I loved you.”

Although Liam didn’t reveal if his message was for his rumored to be pregnant girlfriend, he did caption the sweet message with a hands up emoji alongside a princess and a rose, which Daily Mail reported that a slew of fans believed to be an emoji code Liam used to symbolize Cheryl.

Liam and Cheryl are yet to comment on the pregnancy and wedding rumors, though neither Liam nor Cheryl have done nothing to dispel reports suggesting that things are getting serious for the couple over the past several weeks.

As reported by OK! Magazine, Cheryl turned off comments on a number of her Instagram posts earlier this month after making an appearance at L’Oreal Paris’s Gold Obsession Party in Paris, France, on October 2 during Paris Fashion Week after One Direction fans continually asked her if she was pregnant with Payne’s baby.

The Sun then went on to publish photos that the newspaper claimed proved Cheryl is pregnant with Payne’s baby, showing the singer and former X Factor judge standing to the side where she appeared to show off what could potentially be a baby bump.

What do you think of reports claiming that Liam Payne is preparing to propose to Cheryl amid reports she’s pregnant with their first child?
