Kelly Dodd Was Set Up On ‘RHOC’ According To Meghan Edmonds
Kelly Dodd isn’t a fan favorite on The Real Housewives of Orange County, but she definitely earned some sympathy regarding what went down on the cast trip to Ireland earlier this year. All of the ladies visited the country, and it soon turned into a nightmare no one expected. Between Tamra Judge threatening to kill Dodd and Shannon Beador setting her up by ordering double drinks for her, there was a lot of trash-talking and mud-slinging happening. After all was said and done, there was a definitive cast split.

While Shannon Beador denies trying to set up Kelly Dodd, it appears the fans aren’t buying it. Many Real Housewives of Orange County viewers called on Meghan Edmonds to step up and comment on the situation that happened during the last dinner in Ireland.
According to All About the Tea, Kelly Dodd’s friend Meghan Edmonds does believe something was up with Shannon Beador’s intentions that night. In her Bravo blog, she discussed that something was odd about Beador ordering doubles for Dodd because several of the ladies had issues when Kelly got wild and drunk. Her mouth would run, and she would say offensive things. If that isn’t what was supposed to happen, why were the drinks being ordered behind her back?
Meghan Edmonds brought Kelly Dodd into the Real Housewives of Orange County circle. She was the newbie last season and brought along a friend for her sophomore season. Dodd buddied up with Vicki Gunvalson immediately, which was shocking to some. She felt like the way Vicki was being treated by the other ladies was unfair and Dodd decided to get to know her instead of jumping in on the gossip and attacks that were happening. In fact, the two are still friends now. There was some dispute about how Gunvalson was playing both sides during the Ireland trip but it appears Dodd has forgiven her and moved on. The two were photographed during Kelly’s birthday party alongside former housewives Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek.

Last week, the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion was taped. There hasn’t been much information available, but it is rumored to have been intense. Kelly Dodd has been acting out on social media a bit, but Shannon Beador has been right there with her. In fact, Beador reportedly requested that Bravo shut down the social media banter.
Meghan Edmonds announced that she would not be returning next season, but that has been the only cast announcement made up to this point. The next season will begin filming within the next few months, and it appears that Dodd may stick around even though Edmonds will be gone.

Despite the disagreements between Kelly Dodd and Meghan Edmonds, it appears the two will remain friends.
