Is Angelina Jolie Planning To Take Her Kids To London After Brad Pitt Custody Battle?
Angelina Jolie is reportedly hunting for a new home in London.
After taking her six children from the home they lived in with her and their father, Brad Pitt, in the Hollywood Hills, Jolie relocated to Malibu and reportedly rented a home in Hidden Hills before she was spotted hunting for a new home in Malibu. Now, however, a new report suggests the 41-year-old actress may soon move across the pond.
“Angelina Jolie is looking to escape the fallout of her high-profile split from husband Brad Pitt… in Twickenham,” the Daily Mail revealed to readers on October 22, revealing Jolie is on the hunt for a six-bedroom mansion in the South-West London suburb and wants to move into the new pad by Christmas.

Angelina Jolie is currently in the midst of a messy split and custody battle with 52-year-old Brad Pitt after suddenly filing for divorce from the actor on September 19 and quickly embarking on a custody fight over Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
“[Angelina Jolie’s] staff have said she’s looking for a property. It has to be super-private,” said a source.
According to the report, Twickenham is a far cry from the Hollywood scene that Angelina Jolie’s kids have grown used to, but when it comes to Angelina Jolie’s lifestyle of choice, she may prefer to be based out of Britain because the location makes it easier for her to further her humanitarian and charity work. At this time, Angelina Jolie serves as a United Nations ambassador and is working with former Foreign Secretary William Hague to raise awareness of the sexual conflict in war zones.
Just months ago, Angelina Jolie and her family, including her now-estranged husband, Brad Pitt, relocated their family to London, where they rented a mansion in Surrey while Pitt filmed Allied with Marion Cotillard and Lizzy Caplan. Years prior, the couple rented an estate in Richmond.

Earlier this month, after spending a couple of weeks in Malibu with her six children, Angelina Jolie reportedly rented Denise Richards’ Hidden Hills home, which features two pools, a pet hotel, a cabana, waterfalls and several other unique features. According to Variety, the home rents for $30,000 per month and is currently on the market for $6.895 million.
A couple of weeks later, Angelina Jolie and her kids spent time on the beach in Malibu before being photographed touring a new rental home in the area with Jolie’s brother, James Haven. As Entertainment Tonight revealed at the time, Angelina Jolie’s outing in Malibu marked the first time the actress had been photographed since filing for divorce from Pitt last month.
Angelina “looked very happy and relaxed” as she walked barefoot after being at the beach, a source told Entertainment Tonight. Meanwhile, Jolie and Pitt’s children, except for Angelina Jolie’s oldest son, Maddox, who was not present, looked to be happy as they played by the water.
“The kids were running around and they seemed happy and to be doing well,” the source said. “Zahara ran out to the beach by the water. The kids were playing on the beach.”
Although the outlet didn’t confirm why Maddox was not present during the family’s day out, it was noted that Maddox has recently found himself in the midst of a child abuse investigation, which has tied Pitt to child abuse claims following an alleged altercation between himself and Maddox in Minnesota days prior to Jolie’s divorce filing.
