Courtney Robertson, Arie Luyendyk Caught Kissing A Week After ‘Bachelor’ Winner Ends Engagement
Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk certainly didn’t wait about. Just seven days after Robertson called off her engagement to Ben Flajnik, the winner of The Bachelor was snapped kissing Luyendyk, runner-up in The Bachelorette.
The loved-up couple were papped having dinner on Thursday night at Quiessence Restaurant in Phoenix, the exact same venue she had taken Flajnik on their hometown date. Robertson and Luyendyk rounded off their meal with a spot of face-sucking.
Twenty-nine-year-old Robertson accepted Ben Flajnik’s marriage proposal in March. As she was given a stunning Neil Lane diamond engagement ring on the season 16 finale of The Bachelor, she told her new fiancé:
“I will love you forever, you’re stuck with me.”
Alas, the course of true love never did run smooth, and Flajnik seemed taken aback when he heard of Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk’s date and kiss. On Friday evening, the reality star took to Twitter to say (in a tweet since deleted):
“Little surprised.”
Robertson, on the other hand, appears to be delighted with her new man. After her date with Luyendyk Thursday evening, she tweeted a shot of two glasses of wine along with the words:
“Beautiful night… #RedWineImFine”
Ben Flajnik and Arie Luyendyk have had only good things to say about one another in the past. As recently as August, the pair spent time together while Luyendyk, a race car driver, was in Sonoma, California for an IndyCar event. At the time, Flajnik tweeted:
“[Arie] is a solid dude who has his head on straight. I can see why everyone liked him on the show.”
Anyone think his opinion might have headed south after Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk’s rapid coming together?
