‘Dancing With The Stars’ Week 7: Who’s Going Home Monday Night? Team Dances Spark Big Competition On Eras Night

Len Goodman returns to the Dancing with the Stars judges’ table on Monday night, just in time to critique the eight remaining couples during both their Eras Night performances and the Week 7 team dances.

For one couple, it won’t matter if they get a perfect score on Monday night because one celebrity and their pro dance partner will be going home at the end of the show. According to ABC, the couple with the lowest combination of judges’ scores and fans’ votes from last week’s Latin Night performances will be eliminated on the episode that airs October 24.

Who will go home on Week 7? Get the latest scoop on Monday night’s show below, along with the complete lineup of Eras Night dances and songs and the names of the couples who will compete in the team dances as part of either Team Past or Team Future.

After several weeks with guest judges filling in for Len Goodman, he will return to his seat at the judges’ table alongside Carrie Ann, Julianne, and Bruno. According to People, Goodman had to skip several episodes of DWTS due to his commitments as the head judge on Britain’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Before we address the chatter about the couple who will be eliminated this week, here’s a look at the songs and dance styles the couples will be performing on Eras night, as well as the teams who will be competing against each other on Monday night.

  • Marilu Henner & Derek Hough – Charleston – “Never Forget You” (1920s)
  • Terra Jolé & Sasha Farber – Foxtrot – “Cheek to Cheek” (1930s)
  • James Hinchcliffe & Sharna Burgess – Jitterbug – “In the Mood” (1940s)
  • Calvin Johnson Jr. & Lindsay Arnold – Jive – “Good Golly Miss Molly” (1950s)
  • Laurie Hernandez & Valentin Chmerkovskiy – Quickstep – “One Fine Day” (1960s)

In addition to the performances above, the couples will be split into two teams — Team Past and Team Future. Each team will perform a dance to songs from various decades. Scores from the team dances will be combined with the couples’ individual dance scores.

  • James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess
  • Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold

Which couple will be eliminated on Monday night?

Even a stunning performance this week won’t save the couple who ended up with the lowest combined scores last week (judges + fans’ votes). When Amber and Maks went home last week, it wasn’t a huge surprise, but some viewers are wondering why Ryan Lochte is still around.

Ryan has been at the bottom of the leaderboard all season, so it’s clear that his fans are helping him out by voting up a storm online or by phone. (Check out the Inquisitr‘s full list of Dancing with the Stars Season 23 voting phone numbers here.)

Will host Tom Bergeron tell Ryan that he’s in jeopardy (again) only to announce that he’s safe at the end of Monday night’s show? He’s been lucky so far, so it’s possible that it may be the end of the road for the celebrity who joined Ryan at the bottom of the leaderboard last week — Terra Jole.

Terra’s partner, Sasha Farber, hasn’t had very good luck with the team dances on the two previous seasons that he was part of the DWTS cast. Buddy TV‘s John Kubicek reports that Sasha not only lost the team dances, he was also eliminated the same night on both seasons.

Maureen McCormick hasn’t been able to top the leaderboard all season, so it won’t be a big surprise to find out that she’s in jeopardy. However, her fan support seems to be strong, so let’s see if the former Brady Bunch star can hang on for another week.

Here’s how everyone ranked last week (check out the complete Week 6 recap here). Will their scores, combined with votes from fans, help the couples move forward or will the three celebs who scored the lowest last week (Maureen, Ryan, and Terra) be in jeopardy of going home on Monday night?

  • Jana Kramer — 40
  • James Hinchcliffe — 38
  • Calvin Johnson, Laurie Hernandez — 37
  • Marilu Henner — 34
  • Maureen McCormick — 31
  • Ryan Lochte, Terra Jole — 30

And while you wait, perhaps you may want to revisit one of the steamiest dance routines of the season — Jana and Gleb’s Latin Night Tango.
