Ben Higgins, Lauren Bushnell Explain Why They Went On Double Date With JoJo And Jordan
On the new season of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After? the viewers will get to see Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell go on a double date with JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers. Ben and JoJo have a history of course, but this didn’t stop them from the date. This could be just for great television, but it turns out that Ben and Lauren have a reason for going on this date. E! Online explained what Ben and Lauren had to say about why they decided to do this date.

While talking to E! News‘ Erin Lim, Lauren and Ben talked about their new show and this big double date they went on recently. First off, Ben explained the reason they decided to do a reality show.
“I want people to see, first off, that we really care about each other, that our relationship is very real, that it has the same struggles and same joys that a lot of relationships share. I think it’s very fun to watch because it’s two people that grew up in a very normal life being thrown into a very abnormal situation.”
The fans are really excited to get to see Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell on the show. This is the first spin-off for a couple from The Bachelor, and if it goes well, then this could start becoming a tradition. The viewers fall in love with these couples and love keeping up with them.
Lauren Bushnell explained that the reality is that she is actually friends with JoJo Fletcher. They spent a lot of time together on the show and things have worked out for both of them in the end. Lauren explained the details of their friendship.
“Coming off of The Bachelor, most of my struggles were with Ben. They really didn’t have anything to do with JoJo. We really just needed to rebuild a relationship, and it’s very hard coming off The Bachelor watching your now fiance date other women.”
On the show last week, viewers saw that Lauren was having a bit of trouble dealing with seeing JoJo again. It turns out that it was all okay, though. Lauren explained her thoughts.
“Just putting myself back in that situation was a little weird, as I think most women would think it’s weird to sit down for lunch with an ex, but it ended up going really well. I’m excited for people to see and watch…because we are friends, and we both have a lot in common. I think it was good that we all sat down.”
Right now, JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are doing great, too. They are living in Dallas, and even though the wedding hasn’t been planned yet, it is still something they plan to do in the future. So far, it looks like both of these couples are going to make it.
Us Weekly shared that Lauren Bushnell also revealed that she used to worry that Ben Higgins might have been wearing her clothes. Ben admitted to Lauren that he had a secret he had been keeping and she shared that she thought he was going to say he had been wearing her clothes. Of course, this isn’t it, but Lauren’s head went to something that she wouldn’t be thrilled about. It is hilarious getting to know this couple on their show and see things that fans would have never seen without this series.
