‘Stressed’ Luann De Lesseps Hints At Leaving ‘RHONY’ As Wedding To Tom Approaches
Is Luann de Lesseps quitting The Real Housewives of New York? The “stressed” bride-to-be confessed that she hasn’t “thought that much about the Housewives” as her lavish New Year’s Eve wedding to Tom D’Agostino approaches. Is this the end of Luann’s Housewives career?
Countess Luann is about to renounce her “countess” title and become Mrs. Tom D’Agostino come New Year’s 2017. The couple planned an extravagant wedding in Palm Springs on New Year’s Eve, December 31.
Luann, 51, recently revealed to Taylor Strecker that she doesn’t care what her RHONY cast mates think of her — she is totally done with those ladies, Radar Online reported.
“After this last season I’ve just been focusing on our wedding and traveling with Tom [D’Agostino] and being with my children. And so I really haven’t thought much about the Housewives! I hate to say it.”
De Lesseps says this is with the exception of Dorinda Medley, who introduced the couple.
“Except for Dorinda [Medley]. She’s a bridesmaid because she introduced Tom and I.”
Ramona Singer was snubbed from the Palm Spring nuptials and was not in attendance at Luann’s recent bridal shower.
It is really no surprise that RHONY ladies Bethenny Frankel and Jules Wainstein were not at the bridal shower.
However, Luann’s longtime friend and RHONY cast mate Sonja Morgan did make an appearance.

Luann also revealed that she will be wearing three wedding dresses on her special evening.
“I haven’t been filming so I don’t have the stress of the Housewives to keep me thin!”
Filming for the new season of RHONY is set to begin this week, and it is still unknown if de Lesseps will be returning to the cast.
Luann faced some harsh criticism online after she forgave Tom for cheating on her, which was revealed by Bethenny Frankel on an episode of the Real Housewives of New York last season.
“No matter how you try to spin it to save face, he CHEATED on you,” one person wrote in reply to her tweet about the interview, while.”
“I am a fan but don’t think Bethenny meant harm by telling the truth re Tom. You should thank her not bash her #RHONY.”
Tom had previously dated Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer, both of whom are friends with de Lesseps. Sonja and Ramona were also both present when Luann found out about Tom cheating on her with another woman at a bar.
Bethenny Frankel had recieved photos of Tom making out with another woman at the Regis from her friend who was in New York City at the time. Bethenny decided that she had to show Luann the photos because she had a right to know what was going on behind her back.

Two seasons ago, Luann was sort of demoted to a “friend” status on the cast of RHONY. This past season, the reality star really sparked her storyline with her whirlwind marriage to Tom.
