Blake Lively Treats Herself And Husband Ryan Reynolds After Arrival Of Second Baby, ‘The Shallows’ Star Puts Movies And TV Shows On Hold For Daughter And Family

Blake Lively just had her second baby, which means that she also gets to pamper herself. Instead of including cooking as a part of her domestic chores, she and her husband Ryan Reynolds decided to call in reinforcements to take over their kitchen. Despite the fact that The Shallows actress has put movies and TV shows on hold for her daughter, new baby, and family, she won’t rule out delicious food from her life!

Plus, there is nothing like good food to keep a couple happy. Seeing how this is not Ryan’s first marriage, he probably does not want to mess this one up. Especially right after Blake Lively had their second baby!

“As the Hollywood pair enjoys life with two kids, the talented duo was able to savor some time with a few kitchen experts,” reports E! Online.

“Spent the weekend getting schooled by @thecountrycat’s Adam and Jackie Sappington, the obscenely charming and funny chefs from @foodnetwork,” Ryan wrote as a caption to his Instagram update. “If anybody’s looking for them, they’re handcuffed to my stove until the next olympics. I’ll raise their two boys as if they were my own—which, frankly, is a terrible thing for all involved.”

The Shallows star also recorded this moment on her Instagram.

Of course, the thing that is missing from her picture is the rest of her family – her daughter James and the new baby. But the actress has made clear that she will protect her children’s privacy as much as she can. It was a decision that she and her husband Ryan Reynolds both agreed was the smart thing to do.

“My husband and I chose a profession and a side effect of that is, your personal life is public,” the 29-year-old actress said. “Our child hasn’t had the opportunity to choose whether or not she wants her personal life to be public or not. So in order to give her as much normality as possible, we want her to have a childhood like we had.”

But Blake has no qualms about putting her own life in the public eye. Just days after giving birth to her baby number two, she attended her assistant’s wedding and made sure that the world knew about it.

“The Shallows star (29) welcomed her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds (39) last week and just days later, she was back in high heels as she attended her assistant Jessica Rose’s wedding,” reports Irish Independent. “Blake posted a sweet picture of her giving the bride a kiss on the cheek.”

The Shallows actress captioned the picture, “Most beautiful bride on the planet. And the best friend I could ask for. Thank you for being EVERYTHING. I love you.”

In fact, her ability to bounce right back from pregnancy and baby delivery was lauded by the news outlets. Not only was she down to party right after giving birth, Blake Lively also has the lucky genes to return to her svelte figure almost right after nine months of pregnancy.

While Blake Lively certainly has no plans of killing herself to regain her pre-baby-bump body, it looks like she was born lucky.

“It’s so unfair though, because it’s so celebrated,” she said to People Magazine. “It’s like, this is what someone can look like after a baby. I think a woman’s body after having a baby is pretty amazing.”

“You don’t need to be Victoria’s Secret ready right away because you just did the most incredible miracle that life has to offer. I mean you gave birth to a human being! So I would really like to see that celebrated.”

Seeing how she and her husband Ryan Reynolds hired professional chefs to take over their kitchen, dieting to get her pre-baby bump body back is certainly not on her list of priorities.
