Taylor Swift Talks New Boyfriend, Crashing Weddings In ‘Rolling Stone’ Interview

Country star Taylor Swift has opened up about her romance with her latest boyfriend, Conor Kennedy, for the very first time in the new issue of Rolling Stone.

In the interview, the 22-year-old songstress makes no apologies for her relationship with Kennedy, who is four years younger and still in high school, explaining:

“The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks. It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritizing it, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard.”

Taylor also addressed ongoing rumors that claim she is so obsessed with Kennedy that she recently “kidnapped” him and flew him out to her on her own private jet against his will.

“How did I kidnap him?” Taylor asked Rolling Stone magazine. “You can’t kidnap a grown man! These are serious accusations, now! It’s an interesting way to spin something into a story. See, this is why I don’t read stuff.”

In addition to dishing on her love life, Swift took on the task of explaining her alleged Kennedy wedding crashing back in August.

“I have no idea what happened there,” the singer admitted. “I think that story was based on the biggest misunderstanding, ’cause I would never knowingly show up somewhere that I thought I wasn’t invited to.”

Swift added:

“I would never want to upstage anybody.”

Taylor Swift will drop her newest album, Red, on October 22. Check out her entire Rolling Stone interview when the magazine hits newsstands on October 12.
