Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell’s Relationship ‘Failing Miserably’ Despite What You See On New Reality Show

Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell’s happily ever after might be jeopardy. The couple has faced a lot of problems ever since Higgins handed Bushnell his final rose on The Bachelor.

Are they headed for a split despite what fans see on their show?

According to OK! Magazine, the problems driving Higgins and Bushnell apart are only getting worse now that they have their own reality show.

The pair recently wrapped filming for their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in Las Vegas, and witnesses say everything changed once the cameras stopped rolling.

“They spent no time together during taping breaks,” an insider shared. “They were posting pictures on social media with guests, but didn’t take any together.”

The source added that Higgins and Bushnell are “struggling to keep their relationship afloat” and that everything they do is “failing miserably.”

Is this the beginning of the end for the Bachelor couple?

The Hollywood Gossip reports that Higgins and Bushnell rarely show their love for each other on social media, unlike their Bachelorette counterparts JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers.

Now, this could simply mean that they are just a boring couple and all of this drama is being contrived in order to bring in more viewers.

Higgins and Bushnell recently admitted, however, that they are attending therapy sessions so they clearly have problems to work out.

The majority of their problems, by far, stem from Higgins’ feelings for his Bachelor runner-up, Fletcher.

According to People, the couple admitted that they fought because Higgins’ told Fletcher he loved her on The Bachelor. To make matters worse, Ben Higgins brought Bushnell along for Fletcher’s filming of After the Final Rose.

To say things got awkward is a huge understatement.

Confronting the ex of your significant other is never fun, but it only gets worse when it happens on national TV.

“I have had a friendship with JoJo outside of you and I, since before you and I were engaged, and that friendship remains intact,” Bushnell shared. “The place where I get uncomfortable is when it’s you, me, and JoJo because it just takes me back to that day. That was really hurtful for me, and it’s not JoJo’s fault and it’s not your fault — I just don’t know what kind of advice I would offer her.”

Fletcher is clearly still a sore spot for Bushnell and bringing her to the taping probably wasn’t the best idea.

Considering all of their problems, Wet Paint is reporting that Higgins is starting to get cold feet.

During a preview for a coming episode of Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, Higgins is shown criticizing Bushnell for wanting too much.

“You want a new house, you want a wedding, you want kids, you want a dog,” he tells her.

“Excuse me,” she fires back. “You proposed to me on national television, I don’t think it’s bad that I want a wedding.”

During their round of wedding cake testing, Higgins admitted that would like to slow everything down.

“Marrying somebody involves knowing what you’re getting into,” a blurry-eyed Higgins says.

“So are you saying that the wedding is off?” Bushnell asks him.

Fans will have to wait to get Higgins’ answer, though he did open up about the wedding in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“When it comes to me calling the wedding off, I can’t really speak on that at this point,” he shared. “But our life is, right now, really focused on fighting those big battles. We’re very happy. We’re doing very well and I guess I’ll leave it at that.”
