Tom Brady Reacts To Question About ‘Locker Room Talk’ On Donald Trump Tape, Walks Out Of Press Conference

At a press conference on Wednesday, Tom Brady reacted to a question about the “locker room talk” on Donald Trump’s leaked tape. The New England Patriots quarterback had no interest in responding to a reporter’s question about the Trump tape and cut the session short by walking out.

According to Business Insider, Tom Brady politely ignored the question and wasted no time in dodging the remainder of the press conference.

“Tom, you have kids of your own – how would you respond if your kids heard Donald Trump’s version of locker room talk?” a reporter was heard asking.

“Thank you, guys. Have a great day,” Brady said with a smile before leaving.

Brady made his own statement without answering the question. Of course, his response leaves little to interpret. He sent a strong message by declining to answer the reporter about Trump’s tape by simply signaling that he wasn’t open to discussing the scandal.

Tom Brady is a good friend of Donald Trump’s and was tied to endorsing him just months after the billionaire businessman announced he was running for president. In December of 2015, the NFL star cleared up any confusion about endorsing Trump when he made the comment he thought it was great he was running.

“Can I just stay out of this debate? Donald is a good friend of mine. I have known him for a long time. I support all my friends. That is what I have to say. He’s a good friend of mine. He’s always been so supportive of me — for the last 15 years, since I judged a beauty pageant for him, which was one of the very first things that I did that I thought was really cool. That came along with winning the Super Bowl. He’s always invited me to play golf. I’ve always enjoyed his company.

“I support all my friends in everything they do. I think it’s pretty remarkable what he’s achieved in his life. You’re going from business, kind of an incredible businessman, and then a TV star, and then getting into politics. It’s a pretty different career path. I think that is pretty remarkable.”

The damaging video tape that Tom Brady was asked about involved Donald Trump and Today’s Billy Bush on a bus bantering about women. The footage is from 2005 and was released on Friday. The leaked tape has severely hurt the Trump presidential campaign and ruined Billy Bush’s career. It was revealed on Tuesday that Bush will be suspended from Today indefinitely following the tape’s release.

Bush was working for Access Hollywood when the video was recorded 11 years ago. Trump made offensive comments about Bush’s co-host, Nancy O’Dell, and a conversation about daytime actress, Arianne Zucker, turned ugly when he told Bush that celebrities can do whatever they want, including grabbing a woman’s genitalia and kissing them. Once the pair exited the bus, Bush goaded Zucker to hug Trump.

The scandal has painted both men in an unfavorable light. The second debate on Sunday night was dominated by the Trump tape.

Tom Brady isn’t likely to comment on the Trump tape. He noted to reporters last year that anything celebrities say can be twisted, which has prompted him to be guarded in what he comments on publicly.
