‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Negan Himself Confirms Multiple People Will Die In The Season Premiere

Almost the entire world is awaiting the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead so they can find out who Negan takes his trusty bat to. AMC and the cast members have done a lot to tease the fans and let them think it could be this survivor or that one or maybe one on the end of the line. Well, it appears many of them may be right as Jeffrey Dean Morgan has now confirmed that there will be multiple deaths in the first episode.

Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the upcoming season and comic book of The Walking Dead. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.

At this point, it certainly doesn’t appear as if anyone is actually going to spill the confirmed info of who dies in the first part of the episode. Even the New York Comic Con trailer revealed a lot, but just not enough to know who gets it as revealed by the IB Times.

One thing is certain and it’s that Rick’s life is safe.

So, the footage picks up immediately after Negan has killed one of the characters, and one may think that it is someone positioned on Rick’s right side. You see, he has blood on his right cheek, but what happens before the death is not known so he could move around or try to run and help whoever is being attacked by Negan.

For those wondering, the characters on Rick’s right side in the line-up are Maggie, Glenn, Rosita, Abraham, Michonne, and Daryl.

After that beatdown, he does take Rick into the RV and something bad is about to happen, but will the leader of the survivors really be killed off?

In Robert Kirkman’s comic book of The Walking Dead, Rick does have his hand cut off by Negan and that could be what happens once the full scene in the RV is revealed as reported by the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The thing is, someone else is going to die in the season premiere, even if it’s not Rick.

According to Comic Book, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has confirmed that his character Negan will indeed kill more than one person in the season premiere of The Walking Dead.

“Negan’s not just going to kill one person in [the premiere]. He’s not afraid of bashing skulls.”

So, it is now known that at least two characters will die, but will it be two survivors? Negan is obviously going to get both kills, but his second could be someone else entirely that hasn’t been introduced yet.

“As soon as the cameras are rolling and I get Lucille in my hand, it kind of just transforms me. This character in particular has been such a joy to play for me. Put the dark stuff aside and the horrible things that Negan does… As an actor, it’s just been so much fun. We’re kind of midway through filming season seven, so I feel like I’m pretty locked in.”

Obviously, Morgan is not looking at releasing his hold on Lucille anytime soon.

The Walking Dead returns to AMC for Season 7 on Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. ET. Even though fans want to see the entire episode, it is expected that the first 15 minutes will have one of the largest audiences in television history.

Many are wondering just who Negan is going to kill and which one of the survivors is going to feel the wrath of Lucille. The problem is that all the focus of the fans is being put on the first 10 minutes of the Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead which will reveal that kill. They seem to forget that there are many more episodes to come and another death will happen in the premiere alone. Could Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character kill off two beloved survivors in the first 60 minutes of the season?
