Vick proves he is not a NFL QB

Everyone is going to be quick to say Michael Vick is still rusty. That Four Letter Network for Bristol will say Vick is on the best talents in the NFL today, while that may be true Vick is not a typical NFL QB. In fact he isn’t even a good QB in this league. If the Eagles plan to use Vick to get them over the hump and back into the Super Bowel they will have to use him at a different position.

It is cases like this where the fantasy football phenomenon really warps the actual reality of the NFL. While Vick has always been a tremendous fantasy pick, because he scores many fantasy points with his feet, he is not an elite NFL QB. A simple look at his stats both from last night and his career would seems to back that claim up.

Vick looked very bad in last night’s pre-season finale against the New York Jets. He was sacked numerous times lost more than 40 yards including one play where he lost almost 20 yards trying to make something happen with his feet. It is clear that Vick will always look to run the ball over pass the ball like a typical NFL QB.

His career stats aren’t any better he has a Career QB ranking of 75.7, in his six years in Atlanta he was sacked 187 times and lost more than 1100 yards.
