Khloe Kardashian Finally Speaks Out About Kim’s Robbery, Reveals It Is Huge Wake Up Call

Recently, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint while in Paris, and because of this, everything is changing for the Kardashian family. Now, her sister Khloe Kardashian is speaking out about her thoughts on what happened. Us Magazine shared what Khloe had to say while speaking out on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The new episode with Khloe Kardashian will air today.

This has been hard on the entire Kardashian family. Khloe revealed how it had affected her sister Kim.

“She’s not doing that well. It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together. We do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her.”

When Kim Kardashian was robbed, her husband Kanye West stopped his show right in the middle for a “family emergency.” He actually canceled a couple of shows, but Kanye is back to work now. This entire family is really close to each other.

Kim was staying at the Hôtel de Pourtalès in the City of Lights when this all went down. Five men entered the room after forcing the concierge at gunpoint to unlock the room. One of the men bound and gagged Kim and held a gun to her head while the other men searched the room and took all the valuables they could find. When they were done, they put Kardashian in the bathtub and left. Khloe went on to explain more.

“She thought there was going to be a sexual assault or that she was going to be killed in the bathroom. They did not speak English. Kim was hysterically crying, begging for her life, telling them about her babies.”

Kim Kardashian had two small children at home, and she just wanted to make it home alive to be with them and her husband again. Luckily, Kardashian was not hurt at all in the robbery. So far, Kim Kardashian has remained quiet about what happened to her. The fans would love to hear straight from Kim, but instead, her family is speaking out for her. At some point, Kim will decide it is time to talk. According to Khloe Kardashian, the family is changing things a bit after what happened to Kim.

“I think it’s just a wake-up call to make a lot of life adjustments. This is a really serious matter and for Kim I think it’s very personal for when that emotional terror — [when] you can move on from that. I think for us it’s all a wake-up call for all of us but just definitely to make sure that our sister is OK. [We want to] make sure that we are protected as well as possible. Like I said, we are a family and we will do this together and I think it is important to maybe make those adjustments. And [to] pull back a little bit is always smart.”

Us Magazine shared that Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner have all canceled a few upcoming events after what happened to Kim Kardashian. They had upcoming book signings, but those won’t be happening now. Khloe was supposed to promote the paperback edition of her New York Times bestseller Strong Looks Better Naked, which is out October 18. Kendall and Kylie’s second novel, Time of the Twins: The Story of Lex and Livia, is set for release on November 15. This didn’t keep Khloe from appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, though. The fans will get to see her today.
