‘Keeping Up WIth The Kardashians’ Not On Hold Indefinitely After Kim Kardashian Robbery

The show will go on despite reports that Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been put on hold indefinitely following Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris. Many outlets are reporting that filming has been put on hold indefinitely following the shocking robbery that relieved Kim of more than $10 million in jewelry. According to Gossip Cop, that is just not true.

While there is going to be a short filming hiatus, the correction website claims that sources are adamant that filming will resume and any pauses in their schedule are only temporary.

Us Weekly reported earlier on Thursday that Kim Kardashian is refusing to film Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The E! reality star has already canceled multiple public appearances and has greatly increased her security team. They also reported that filming for KUWTK has been suspended indefinitely due to the robbery and cited a spokesperson for the family that confirmed the news.

The KUWTK star had a frightening experience while staying in a private Paris hotel over the weekend while attending Paris Fashion Week. Her trip was cut short after thieves were able to break into Kim’s room, tie her up, gag the reality star and leave her sitting in the hotel bathtub while they cleaned out Kim’s jewelry box and even made off with her wedding ring.

The robbery took place around 3 a.m. in Paris. The following day, Kim Kardashian flew back to New York City via a private jet with her husband Kanye West. The high profile couple stayed in NYC until Thursday and finally boarded another private flight to Los Angeles. Kim and Kanye have been flanked by increased security ever since the Paris robbery. Kanye has already postponed two tour dates, one in Detroit and another in Philadelphia, to be with Kim in the wake of the robbery. It is unknown if Yeezy will call off the rest of the tour or resume performing at some point.

People reported that Kim was left without security at the No Address Hotel in Paris because her private guard Pascal Duvier had delivered her to her hotel room before leaving to keep an eye on Kourtney and Kendall, who were also in town for Paris Fashion Week and had decided to go out on the town.

The report claims that Kim felt comfortable by herself in the swanky private hotel, possibly because Kanye West had been staying there quite often since 2011. Despite many questions about the fate of Duvier, who often appears in snaps of Kim Kardashian and tends to hang close to the reality star, he is still employed by the family at this time.

Questions about Pascal Duvier’s employment with the Kardashians heated up after the famous security guard deleted pictures of Kim from his own social media accounts. Apparently, his removal of Kim from Instagram was just a security measure as the family is ramping up everything about the way they protect themselves. In the wake of the robbery, Kim also has not resumed posting on social media.

Even though the Kardashian-Jenner clan has been eerily silent in the days following Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery, it is highly unlikely that Keeping Up With The Kardashians will stop filming altogether. Even if Kim decides that she wants to leave the E! reality show, it’s highly probably that the rest of the family will continue on. From this point forward, it’s pretty clear that the family will be more careful about keeping security close and will take all threats seriously. Fans of KUWTK can expect contact with the famous family to be restricted in the future since all of them are making changes in the way they travel and move about.
