Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Split, She Quits ‘The Voice’ Due To Adam Levine Feud? [Rumors]

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth appear to have an on and off relationship, but are they really back off after rekindling their romance earlier this year?

Following several rumors regarding Miley Cyrus’ plans to get married followed her possible breakup, a new report claims the singer and her actor boyfriend have ended their relationship yet again. And this time, another man is involved.

According to a report by The Hollywood Gossip on October 4, Miley Cyrus is now focused on another man, but not in a romantic sense. Instead, the source alleged, Cyrus was concentrating on her career in acting and her role in Woody Allen’s new mini-series, which is a comedy called Crisis in Six Scenes.

“Liam’s really unhappy about this turn of events,” an insider told OK! Magazine. “He’d hoped her Woody Allen TV show might have curbed any desire to go back to her wild stage persona – something that ultimately tore them apart in the first place.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth began dating as they filmed 2010’s The Last Song. In the film, the actors played young adults who fall in love as Cyrus’ character visited a beach town where her father was living. Off-screen, the two fell for one another as well, and in 2012, Hemsworth proposed.

While Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth appeared to enjoy their engagement for about a year, things between them seemed to become strained as Cyrus stepped out of her Disney good-girl image and into adulthood with a racy new album, Bangerz, and a jaw-dropping performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. Weeks after Miley Cyrus’ performance, which featured the the former Hannah Montana actress twerking on the singer as they sang “Blurred Lines,” her engagement to Hemsworth was called off, and they went their separate ways.

In other Miley Cyrus news, the singer is said to be at war with her co-stars on The Voice just months into production on the currently airing 11th season of the show. At the end of last month, Miley Cyrus was said to be fighting back against thoughts of quitting the show after just one season with her co-stars. According to a report by Radar Online, Cyrus is believed to be locked in a bitter backstage feud with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.

Although last season featured the love story between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, who was seen a number of times during season 10, season 11 has a “different vibe,” the source explained, adding that Miley Cyrus has been super competitive.

“[Miley Cyrus] is saying she refuses to be beat by the old men!” the source said. “Meanwhile, Adam and Blake are still trying to one-up each other at any chance they get.”

Although Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine have been facing rumors of a feud for the past several months, Cyrus does have one person on her side in Alicia Keys. The multi-talented Keys, who is also serving her first season as coach, has been bonding with Cyrus on the show and hanging out with her off the set as well.

In addition to rumors of Miley Cyrus possibly quitting the show due to her ongoing feud with Adam Levine, there have also been reports claiming Levine is considering a show exit because of Miley Cyrus.

To see more of Miley Cyrus and her co-stars, tune into The Voice Season 11 on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.
