Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Are Facing Wedding Rumors, Reports Of A Tom Cruise Feud
What’s going on in the love life of Katie Holmes?
In recent weeks, Katie Holmes has been targeted with a number of rumors, some of which surround her rumored romance with Jamie Foxx and others regarding her allegedly strained relationship with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
On September 30, Chatt Sports Net spoke of the ongoing rumors about Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx, which include claims that the pair has been secretly engaged for several months. However, while reports have suggested that Katie Holmes is engaged and planning to get married to Jamie Foxx in November, the allegations of an upcoming wedding are believed to be untrue.
In early September, OK! Magazine shared a report claiming Katie Holmes was getting married later this year and planning to put her true personality on display at her potential ceremony. A short time later, Gossip Cop spoke to both Holmes and Foxx’s reps, who both denied the allegedly impending wedding.
Chatt Sports Net also mentioned a recent report which suggested Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were at odds after Cruise offered their 10-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, a role in an upcoming film. The outlet then noted that the rumor had been shut down.

In the summer of 2013, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were seen enjoying the dance floor together during a charity event in the Hamptons and ever since, they’ve been romantically linked to one another. However, they have continuously denied a romance between them, despite being caught together on numerous occasions.
Following their charity outing, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were caught holding hands with one another with their feet touching at a studio. Still, the alleged couple denied their romance. Most recently, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx enjoyed a low-key meal together in Toronto, Canada, where Holmes has been filming The Kennedys: After Camelot.
In July, the Lainey Gossip shared details of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s time in Canada, revealing that the actors attempted to go unseen at the restaurant and both left using separate exits. The outlet also pointed out that Foxx had no business in town and was there solely due to his ties to Katie Holmes.

While Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s relationship status has yet to be confirmed, a recent report by Radar Online suggested that the pair was refraining from going public due to a clause in Holmes’ divorce from Tom Cruise, which reportedly keeps her from dating publicly until 2017.
“[Katie Holmes signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce,” the source claimed. “She’s allowed to date, but she cannot do so in a public fashion, and she’s not supposed to let any boyfriend near their daughter, Suri. Katie wanted out of the marriage so badly, she agreed to the terms — and got $4.8 million in child support, plus another $5 million for herself.”
Due to the clause, if Katie Holmes was to go public with her alleged romance with Jamie Foxx, she would be forced to return the $5 million to her ex-husband. That said, Cruise isn’t too concerned about Katie Holmes’ private life at this point and would welcome the return of their settlement deal.
“At this point, Tom doesn’t care much what [Katie Holmes] does,” the insider said. “But he wouldn’t mind getting his $5 million back!”
