Maci Bookout Snubs ‘Teen Mom OG’ Co-Star Farrah Abraham Ahead Of Wedding
Maci Bookout has had a very busy year. Planning a wedding isn’t easy but she has done a great job not allowing the stress to show in her television presentation. On top of marrying her long-time boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, Bookout also welcomed her third child in May. She is now mom to Bentley whom she had with Ryan Edwards and Jayde and Maverick whom she had with McKinney. This year has been life-changing for the Teen Mom OG star and there is still more to come.
It was announced that Maci Bookout would be marrying Taylor McKinney in Florida. The ceremony will take place the weekend of October 7, at the venue they looked at on Teen Mom OG. All of the politics associated with sending out wedding invites have been brought up to Bookout, but she chose to do her own thing when it came to inviting franchise co-stars. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Maci Bookout snubbed Farrah Abraham by not sending her a wedding invite. That isn’t shocking considering the history of bad blood between the girls.
The history between Maci Bookout and Farrah Abraham goes back several seasons. There was some controversy over whether or not Abraham should be allowed to participate in the Teen Mom franchise after her adult film career was exposed. Bookout didn’t want to be associated with it in any way and was concerned that her son was going to be filmed on a show with someone who did questionable things. When it was announced that MTV allowed Abraham back to film, Bookout flipped out and essentially quit the show. After some coaxing from producers and likely some reminders about contracts, she decided she would film Teen Mom OG but Bentley would not.
Fans assumed that Maci Bookout had made amends with Farrah Abraham, but the wedding snub says otherwise. The drama is now renewed thanks to Simon Saran, Abraham’s on-again-off-again love interest. He made some comments about Bookout and Taylor McKinney that weren’t very kind regarding the snub. They have yet to respond to the comments made about them, though they reportedly have been made aware of them.
October is a busy month for the Teen Mom girls. Maci Bookout is marrying Taylor McKinney, Chelsea Houska is marrying Cole DeBoer, and Amber Portwood was planning to marry Matt Baier before canceling their wedding earlier this year. Bookout and Portwood were both in attendance last year when Catelynn Lowell married Tyler Baltierra. Rumors have circulated that both Catelynn and Amber will be in Florida to celebrate Maci’s special day.
These Teen Mom OG girls have been through a lot together. From drugs to loss, the four original girls have been through more than most. Maci Bookout has always wanted to build a life with someone she loves. There was some pressure for Taylor McKinney to propose but when he finally did, it was everything she wanted. Many questioned the timing because they had just found out they were expecting their second child. Bookout was accused of faking the pregnancy reveal on the show because it appeared staged.
With the wedding in just under two weeks, Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney are getting their last minute preparations handled. It hasn’t been made clear whether or not MTV will be filming it but it is more than likely going to happen. Bookout hasn’t come out as against it like her franchise co-star Chelsea Houska. It appears that she is happy with everything that is going on and counting down the days until she is Mrs. Taylor McKinney. The celebration is all weekend long and the venue was something the couple both felt strongly about.
