Brad Pitt Had Alleged Affair With Pregnant Marion Cotillard?

Almost immediately after news broke that golden couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were divorcing came the rumors about why their romance had crumbled. Actress Marion Cotillard was one of those caught in the middle of the speculation, with allegations that Jolie had split from Pitt because of his supposedly secret affair with the actress, who is one of his Allied co-stars.

The Daily Mail reported that Angelina even had an alleged confrontation with Cotillard on the set because she believed that the two were involved in a secret affair. Jolie, 41, was reported to have hired a private investigator, who followed Pitt and Marion during their filming of the World War II movie in London.

What happened on the set during filming reportedly caused Jolie to feel jealous to the extent that she snubbed her estranged husband’s co-star.

“Angelina completely ignored Marion on the set, and when Marion tried to talk to her she just looked the other way,” a source revealed to the Daily Mail.

“Marion was devastated… thinking she is going to meet this great UN ambassador and instead Angelina refuses to speak to the woman because of her own jealousy.”

However, the insider described the rumors that Pitt and Cotillard had an affair as 100 percent false, emphasizing that Brad’s primary concern is his children. The media spotlight has caused him to feel particularly worried about how his youngsters will survive the divorce drama.

“He does not want them reading anything negative in the press about himself or their mother,” explained the source.

Cotillard and Pitt are generating buzz about their sexual chemistry in the spy thriller Allied, with their interactions summed up as “electric.” Movie producer Graham King revealed that Brad and Marion immediately connected.

But just as politicians sometimes try to take the high road and not exploit the media to slam opponents, Pitt is determined to do what he can to keep it clean, shared the insider.

“[Brad is] not going to get dirty.”

As for what Pitt’s relationship on set was like with Cotillard, the film’s producer revealed that the two respected each other.

“Brad and Marion immediately had the utmost respect for each other, so once they delved into their characters, their chemistry was electric,” he commented.

Just as Pitt and Jolie reportedly had such intense chemistry on the set of their film that they fell in love, resulting in the end of his relationship with Jennifer Aniston, Brad and Marion portray an information officer and French Resistance fighter who began to love each other.

Page Six cited a source who revealed that Jolie had discovered that Pitt was being unfaithful to her with Marion, leading to the decision to file for divorce.

“She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw,” summed up the insider.

The private investigator discovered that Brad, 52, had been cheating with Cotillard, 40, and also was partying as if he was single and ready to mingle, added the source.

“The atmosphere [off-set] was full of hard drugs and Russian hookers, and Angie was told Brad got caught up in it.”

The insider also described Pitt as “in the throes of some insane midlife crisis,” caused Angelina to feel “fed up.” Another source, however, told Page Six that the two are also clashing when it comes to their future. While Brad reportedly wants to continue his film career success, Jolie is ready to move on.

“The older she gets, the more serious she becomes, and she is sick of the Hollywood thing,” shared the second source. “He wants to make movies. She doesn’t. It’s a fundamental difference. It’s how you live your life.”

Adding to her reasons for the divorce, Angelina reportedly thinks that her estranged husband’s alleged drinking and pot-smoking, combined with his “anger problem,” are having an adverse impact on their children.

As for the rumors that Cotillard is pregnant, Marion stepped up to confirm her baby bump reports while simultaneously clapping back at the claims that she and Brad had an affair.

The actress turned to Instagram to take on the rumors, noted Life & Style.

“This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into,” stated Marion, “as this situation is spiraling and affecting people I love, I have to speak up.”

Brad’s co-star then revealed that she is looking forward to welcoming a baby with her partner, Guillaume Canet.

“Many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need,” emphasized Cotillard.

She concluded by wishing that Angelina and Brad will find peace amid the chaos.
