WWE News: Bret Hart Explains Why He Is So Critical Of Seth Rollins

For the last two months, Bret “The Hit Man” Hart has been talking trash about WWE superstar Seth Rollins and what he considers a reckless style of wrestling. Things grew even harsher when Bret’s brother Smith Hart came out last week and said that the WWE needed to release Seth Rollins to prevent further injuries. However, in a recent appearance on Heated Conversations with Booker T, Bret seemed to extend an olive branch of sorts.

When Smith Hart made his comments, it seemed as if there were truly malignant reasons behind the criticism of Seth Rollins. However, Bret denies that is the case. Hart said that he is a fan of Seth Rollins and is just making his public criticism of Rollins because he wants to help make Seth a better wrestler.

“I hope Seth Rollins becomes the safest, best wrestler in the world. And I wish him all the luck in the world. And I’m not trying to pick on him. I’m just trying to remind him that it’s not about hurting guys. That doesn’t make you a good wrestler. It makes you a really lousy wrestler.”

That is a far cry from what Smith Hart said about Seth Rollins last week. Smith Hart went to Facebook and called on the WWE to fire Seth Rollins after a student at his wrestling training school died, comparing it to the injuries that Rollins caused to John Cena, Sting, and Finn Balor.

“Fans, friends, colleagues, I emplore you to band together to boycott anything involving Seth Rollins as fans deserve better than this and the talent/students of this business cetrainly deserve better. To those working in WWE, I emplore you to either cease booking this careless fool and/or send him somewhere to be trained how to wrestle properly. And finally to Seth Rollins, if you read this. Take consideration of the people you are working with and learn to work safe or give up and find another profession.”

That was harsh and was especially damning considering that Smith Hart pointed out that he thought Rollins careless attitude was responsible for the death of his student. That was an opinion that is not based on any facts as of yet.

Jonah Snyder was a 20-year-old who had taken a one semester break from college to train at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy. It was his first day of working out when Snyder collapsed and was rushed to the hospital for what was called a “medical emergency.” The school said that no cause of death was determined.

The only real complaints that can be levied against Seth Rollins are that he injured three wrestlers in the last year. Rollins ended Sting’s career when he connected on two buckle bombs and then injured Finn Balor less than a year later with the same move outside of the ring. Seth broke John Cena’s nose with a knee that connected.

“If you’re a young buck and you’re full of piss and vinegar like Seth Rollins is, you’ve got to change your style around. You’ve got to work a little different. You’ve got to take care of these guys that are a little older. You’ve got to protect these guys.”

Seth Rollins will wrestle at Clash of Champions this weekend for the world title against Kevin Owens. He is transitioning into a face at this time, and the Inquisitr reported that there is also a chance that The Shield could reunite in the WWE within the next year.
