‘Baywatch’ Star Priyanka Chopra Discusses Going Braless And Sex Scenes

Bollywood’s dazzling beauty Priyanka Chopra has created her identity in the United States after appearing in ABC’s Quantico. Now, the former Miss World 2000 is set to star in the movie adaptation of hit TV series Baywatch.

In her recent interview with InStyle Magazine, the Bajirao Mastani star stated that she still prefers to wear a shirt over a bra and thinks that bras should be kept hidden.

“I’m a little shy, and I’d prefer a shirt. I think a bra should be kept hidden, layered underneath.”

When asked if she ever considers going braless, the actress humorously stated that she has no problem going braless if she is in her bedroom.

“If it’s in the vicinity of my bedroom, then yes—or, as long as people don’t know.”

Chopra is recognized for her sex appeal in the Indian film industry and in America. On Quantico, the actress utilizes her sex appeal while also maintaining that serious business-like demeanor.

Chopra stated that it all comes back to confidence and how she presents herself in front of the camera.

“Sexy is about confidence and style. Which inherently anyone can teach themselves, It’s walking with a sense of yourself. And that turns heads in a room. I’m a very individual person. I’ve never followed a particular style in the past. I’m just comfortable being me.”

Does Priyanka Chopra enjoy watching her own lovemaking scenes?

Chopra, who has been awarded the title of Most Desirable Woman of 2016 by Time, revealed in her recent interview with W Magazine that when it comes to watching her own sex scenes on the silver screen, she feels very awkward.

“I don’t like my own love scenes. There’s so awkward. I hate doing them. They are just awkward, you know. With 500 people watching you and it’s just you got to make it look real and intimate. I hate that. In fact, my favorite lovemaking scene…it’s really cheesy. It’s not a love scene, but Pocahontas and John Smith from Pocahontas. It really made me want to believe in love stories that last.”

Priyanka took to Instagram to share the picture and wrote, “I love this cover. Thx u @WMag! Such an honor to be named Royalty alongside this insanely talented group…I always thought I was a queen (haha) #DreamComeTrue #TheRoyals.”

This is not the first time Chopra has talked about her on-screen sex scenes. In her earlier interview with Spotboye, the actress revealed how uncomfortable she was when she had to shoot a steamy scene with her Quantico co-star Jake McLaughlin.

“Bold scenes are never easy, they are uncomfortable and awkward. You feel uncomfortable because you have 300 people standing there and watching you. You feel awkward because you don’t know your co-actor.”

In the past, Chopra has done films like Fashion, Aitraaz, and 7 Khoon Maaf, all of which had steamy sex scenes, but all the scenes were shot and presented in a very delicate manner, as the Indian film industry does not approve of any actor/actress shedding their clothes in front of the camera.

After starring in the Bollywood action-thriller Jaii Gangaajal, Chopra has no Bollywood projects as of now, as she is currently preparing for her role in Baywatch. In addition, Chopra is going to produce two regional language films in India under her production company, Purple Pebble Pictures.

Directed by Seth Gordon, Baywatch will feature Chopra along with Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, and Pamela Anderson. Principal photography on the action-comedy film began in February of 2016 in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Baywatch is slated for release on May 19, 2017.

Apart from this, Chopra is also busy filming Quantico Season 2.
