Shannon Beador Felt Justified In Ditching Vicki Gunvalson At The Hospital: Here’s Why!

Shannon Beador has been very vocal about not wanting to continue her friendship with Vicki Gunvalson on The Real Housewives of Orange County. The two ladies had agreed that they could be cordial around one another, but Beador couldn’t trust her former friend. Other than the invitation to Shannon’s birthday party, it sounds like she wanted nothing to do with Gunvalson. So when Heather Dubrow and Kelly Dodd chose to call Meghan King Edmonds about the accident, Shannon didn’t think that it was so serious. Beador essentially learned about the accident through a game of telephone.

According to a new Bravo report, Shannon Beador is now revealing that she felt completely justified in not going to the emergency room to visit Gunvalson. Sure, when she was injured in Glamis, she couldn’t feel parts of her body. She had gone numb, and she complained about having neck pains. But since she was released within hours from the emergency room, one can imagine that her injuries were not that serious.

And it sounds like Shannon Beador didn’t think that Gunvalson’s emergency room visit was all that serious, considering she was taking selfies in the hospital and sending them to the Real Housewives of Orange County cast.

“In the evening after the accident, Meghan was in constant contact with Vicki at the hospital to get updates on her condition. Meghan gave me each update. I was shocked at dinner when Meghan showed me selfie pics that Vicki had taken of herself. If I were injured, that would be the least of my concerns,” Shannon Beador reveals in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, sharing that she wouldn’t be the one posting selfies if she was seriously hurt in the hospital.

Beador and Meghan King Edmonds hung out that day, when they learned about the accident. As it turns out, Shannon Beador and Meghan both felt justified in not going to visit their co-star at the hospital, since they both felt betrayed by Gunvalson. While Shannon had learned that Gunvalson had talked about David Beador’s affair behind her back, King Edmonds had been told by her that her marriage wouldn’t last. Both women didn’t feel that they owed their co-star anything.

“This is the bottom line: I believe that I am completely justified in not going to the hospital. Vicki is not my friend. A friend would not be doing or saying the things that Vicki is recently connected to. Continue to watch this season as it unfolds, and you will better understand why my decision was justified. Vicki has basically done nothing but lie to me in the last year and a half, and I want nothing to do with her. But once again, I am human and had Vicki’s injuries been serious enough for her to be admitted, I would have been at the hospital at that point,” Shannon Beador reveals in her Bravo blog.

Heather Dubrow and Kelly Dodd may just have been in shock when they called their co-star Meghan about the accident. As she pointed out herself, Kelly was drinking beer, and the ladies were surrounded by champagne. If their co-star had been so severely injured that she was admitted to the hospital, then they would all have gone. Would Vicki have gone herself to visit her co-stars?

“You’re absolutely incorrect, I would have been there in a second,” Vicki Gunvalson revealed on Twitter as the episode was airing.

Do you think Shannon Beador made the right choice is staying away from the emergency room? Do you think Meghan should have gone to the hospital since Vicki had already extended an olive branch?
