Lamar Odom Is Upset About Khloe Kardashian’s Potential New Boyfriend Tristan Thompson [Report]
Lamar Odom is reportedly upset about the news of his soon-to-be ex-wife’s latest romance.
Although Khloe Kardashian hasn’t confirmed she is dating again, she and Tristan Thompson of the Cleveland Cavaliers have been spending tons of time together lately and recently traveled to Mexico where they enjoyed a days-long vacation with friends.
“[Lamar Odom] wouldn’t be so pissed about Khloe’s dating life if she dated outside the NBA,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life on September 12. “He feels like she’s hooking up with dudes in the league to f**k with him and his mental state. When he saw pics of them together he was hurt.”
Lamar Odom’s estranged wife first stepped out with Thompson in mid-August at a nightclub in Los Angeles. Weeks later, photographs surfaced of the rumored couple in Beverly Hills, where they were said to be house hunting with a couple of friends who were interested in a move to the area.

Prior to her reported romance with Thompson, Kardashian was linked to New York Giants player Odell Beckham Jr. after the two were spotted at a party in Hidden Hills, California, and to rapper French Montana, whom she dated on and off for about a year. In addition, Kardashian has been tied to rapper The Game, actor Rick Fox, and Houston Rockets star James Harden. As fans may recall, Kardashian was involved in a romance with Harden in October of last year when Lamar Odom suffered a drug overdose.
While Kardashian and Harden continued to date throughout the first few weeks of Lamar Odom’s hospitalization, her time away from the relationship ultimately led to its end and in the months that followed, Kardashian stuck by her former partner, Odom. In fact, Kardashian grew so close to Odom that rumors began swirling in regard to a possible reunion between them.
Although Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013, she withdrew her request late last year and in the weeks that followed, she and Odom added to speculation of a reconciliation on episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. During the show, Kardashian and Odom weren’t confirmed to be back on at any point, but they did speak of getting back together.
During one episode of the series’ 12th season, Kardashian and Odom were seen taking a plane ride to New York City, where they were expected to attend the Kanye West Yeezy Season 3 fashion show, which they did. As they traveled, Kardashian and Odom spoke of a reunion — and even a future second wedding. However, by spring, things between them came to an abrupt end.
“[Lamar Odom] still very much loves Khloe,” the Hollywood Life insider continued. “He would be back with her in a heartbeat if she’d chill out and stop trying to control every aspect of his life.”

In June of this year, a People Magazine source confirmed Kardashian and Lamar Odom were no longer talking following a number of shocking drug reports against Odom.
“It was her decision,” the insider said.
“The times she went to see [Lamar Odom] recently, he was pretty messed up. She’s sick of it. She feels like she’s done everything she can and it’s just ridiculous at this point. Khloe cares about Lamar and he’ll always be in her life, but there is only so much you can do for a person. You can’t help or fix someone who won’t fix themselves.”
“[Lamar Odom] is a sad mess,” added the source. “His body is not back to normal and it never will be. There is a fear that he will again have an overdose.”
