Marvel Movies: 'Iron Man 4' In Talks? Robert Downey Jr. Teases Happy Hogan MCU Cast Member Jon Favreau -- Kevin Feige, Tom Holland, Russo Brothers, And Chef Roy Choi Gather Together [Rumors]

The Iron Man 4 movie news, rumors, and speculation pool is swirling madly. The MCU crew joined celebrity chef Roy Choi in a group photo. Robert Downey Jr. had the picture taken and then had it posted on Twitter. Fans may speculate that this could mean something big for the Marvel Cinematic Universe since it has been about three years since the last Iron Man film.

How Could This Be An Iron Man 4 Tease?

The commentator over at ComicBookCast 2's YouTube channel gave his thoughts on the possibility of it being a tease for Iron Man 4 even though the Twitter post says something in regards to a meeting of the minds between Choi and Favreau on their new project.

Maybe there's more to this than just another cooking movie? Why would they all be pictured together?

The video first emphasized the 2008 Iron Man movie being a big hit, and even though the third wasn't much of a fan favorite, it surpassed $1.2 billion according to Box Office Mojo. So why wouldn't they make another? After all, he's a Marvel superhero who is quite the stand-out character.

For a long time, the idea of Iron Man 4 ever coming out has been volleyed back and forth. Keep in mind the flick has been teased multiple times. He's even expressed interest in leaving. He has, however, signed on for more movies. So it does appear as if he's in for the long haul with Marvel and Disney.

Take notice of Favreau and Robert in the picture. For one, Jon directed the first two Iron Man movies and starred as Happy Hogan. There's also Tom Holland, who is on Team Stark, and, of course, Favreau will be back as Hogan again along with the other two in Spiderman: Homecoming.

Then there's Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and Captain America: Winter Soldier, Civil War, and Infinity War directors, the Russo brothers.

Moving forward on the ComicBookCast2's dialogue, and they mentioned that there are more stories to be told.

"There are plenty of more stories to be told in the Iron Man film franchise, but where exactly do they go from there and could this be the precursor to actually setting that movie up."

That being said, the layout for the MCU has been known to change at a moments notice, switching gears and the like. It seems there's a hazy objective at this point.

Considering the Iron Man franchise made a boat load of money, it would behoove them to try it again.

Robert Downey Jr. Up For Another Iron Man?

Fans pretty much have given up hope of there ever being a fourth movie. However, back in April, Robert Downey Jr. said he'd probably do another. The statement was caught on ABC's Nightline during a Civil War segment, according to Comic Book Resources.

"I feel like I could do one more."

Although there are no plans for one more, that could change. Since Robert is up for it, fans are hopeful. They have expressed as such, too.

Should the sequel ever come to fruition, this would be the lead actor's 10th Marvel film, according to Express.

If Iron Man 4 Happens, What If The Star Doesn't Return?

Kevin Feige compared the likes of Robert Downey Jr. to the actors who play James Bond. There were quite a few of those who portrayed the iconic role, and they were a hit regardless, right?

"I think Bond is a good example. Let's put it this way: I hope Downey makes a lot of movies for us as Stark. If and when he doesn't, and I'm still here making these movies, we don't take him to Afghanistan and have him wounded again. I think we James Bond it."

So what do you think? Will Feige and Marvel Studios go the James Bond route with Iron Man?

Possible Iron Man 4 Release Date If It's A Go?

Back in January, it was reported that the Marvel Studios itinerary won't be anywhere close to Iron Man 4 until at least 2020 at the earliest, according to the Master Herald. Also, according to the Independent, there are three untitled Marvel movies slated for that year. Do you think the fourth installment be included in one of those slots?
