Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Divorce Rumors Continue As She Visits A Refugee Camp In Syria

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are facing rumors of a possibly impending divorce as he focuses on his new real estate venture in Croatia and she hones in on her humanitarian efforts in Syria.

According to a report by Us Weekly on September 10, Jolie visited a refugee camp in Syria on Friday and later revealed to reporters that many of the people living in the camp are children.

“There are children here who remember no other life than this harsh, desert environment and barbed wire fences,” Jolie said. “There are teens here who bear terrible mental and physical wounds of the conflict…. Over half of all the refugees in Jordan are under 18. My own children are of that age. And like any other parent, it is impossible for me to imagine what it would be like for my own children in this situation. And it breaks my heart.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been married for two years and share six children together. In addition to their adopted children, 14-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, and 11-year-old Zahara, all of whom the couple has adopted from other countries, Pitt and Jolie are also parents to 10-year-old Shiloh and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie keep busy with projects in different countries, many are wondering if the couple will soon split. On September 8, the Morning Ledger shared details of a recent rumor, which claimed Pitt and Jolie may be divorcing as Jolie makes plans to relocate from their family home to a place in Croatia. However, as previously reported, it is actually Pitt who is spending time in Croatia — but not because he’s leaving his family behind. Instead, Pitt is working on a $1.5 billion luxury hotel in the area.

Earlier this month, People Magazine shared details about Brad Pitt’s recent visit to Croatia, where he toured the site of their future project by boat and on foot with a number of other investors.

Prior to Brad Pitt’s visit to Croatia, he and wife Jolie celebrated their 2-year wedding anniversary at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

“It was just the two of them. They had dinner and spent the night, and that was it,” a source told Us Weekly of the couple’s one-night visit to the five-star resort. “They left the next day.”

According to the magazine’s report, Brad Pitt and his wife frequently book rooms at hotels for some time alone.

“They want to keep the love alive,” the source said.

While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie often need a break from their hectic lives with their six kids and busy careers, they are thrilled with being parents and included their children in their August 2014 wedding. As Us Weekly revealed, Maddox and Pax walked Jolie down the aisle during the ceremony, and the couple’s daughters, Zahara and Vivienne, threw flowers petals. Meanwhile, their daughter Shiloh and son Knox served as the ring bearers.

“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie told Hello! magazine at the time. “It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”

While there have been ongoing rumors of a split for months, the De Soto Edge confirmed on September 12 that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have no actual plans to part ways.
