‘Daredevil’ Season 3: Back In 2018? Charlie Cox Filming ‘The Defenders’ After Season 2
Daredevil is a popular Netflix original and it will definitely be back for a Season 3. The Marvel TV show starring Charlie Cox was officially confirmed earlier this year at the Comic-Con.
Daredevil may not get a release date for a while. Reports suggest that Netflix COO Ted Sarandos stated that Daredevil Season 3 may not air until 2018. However, that does not mean you will not see the Daredevil character until then.
According to Charlie Cox, The Defenders will be filmed around the end of this year. In an interview with The Independent, the actor confirmed that Daredevil will join Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage in the highly anticipated Netflix miniseries.

“What we do know is at the end of this year we’re going to be making The Defenders and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome.”
“I have no idea what the storyline is going to be for that show. I’m very excited to see how those world’s combine… and interested to see tonally how those shows become one.”
There are not many spoilers from showrunners about Season 3. However, many fans of Daredevil speculate that Bullseye may make an appearance and Charlie Cox likes the idea. There have been no confirmation or hint from insiders yet but keep your fingers crossed.

Daredevil is one of many superheroes that chooses not to kill. According to Cinema Blend, Charlie Coz discussed the Daredevil’s morals and a couple of close calls the character has had in the series so far.
“There’s a scene in Episode 4 of Season 2 where he goes to rescue The Punisher in the catacombs, and as he comes in, he then beats up a couple of guys, knocks them out, right? And then he goes in, he gets Frank, he goes through a couple other rooms, he beats up people, he has a quick conversation with Frank, they then beat up a couple of people together, and as they are leaving, those two guys are still knocked out. If they are not dead, they are seriously brained. If you get knocked out and you’re still knocked out half an hour later, that’s not good. It’s a slightly loose moral compass at times, you know what I mean?”
If you are a fan of all the Netflix Marvel originals, a tweet from Entertainment Weekly Senior Writer Natalie Abrams revealed that Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders then a second season of Jessica Jones presumably, and a third season of Daredevil. After all these shows, we will get The Punisher, which may also air in 2018.
There are likely to be many cross-over roles with the superheroes like we see in the Marvel movies with Iron Man, Captain America etc.
Marvel/Netflix sked: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders THEN 2nd and 3rd seasons of the other shows and Punisher.

The way Season 2 ended, it is not clear whether Nelson and Murdoch will continue their law firm or friendship. Although the second season did not meet the acclaim of Season 1, it was still well-reviewed by critics.

Mike Colter who plays Luke Cage made it clear that the series is not a Jessica Jones sequel, and is it unclear whether she will play a guest role in the series.
Daredevil Season 3 is still very much a mystery. The biggest unveiling will probably involve the villain the showrunners pick to challenge the Hell’s Kitchen hero.
