Kate Middleton Rumors: Duchess Kate Planning Her Third Pregnancy, Could Announce It To The World At Christmas
Kate Middleton is rumored to be planning another pregnancy, with reports that she and Prince William hope to be pregnant by the end of this year and possibly announcing it at Christmas time.
The report comes from Us Weekly, which claims that Duchess Kate and Prince William are already making plans for adding another baby, and timing it so they can make it public to the world before the end of the year.
“They (Prince and Kate) want a third baby soon. It would not surprise me if they were pregnant by Christmas,” the source said via the International Business Times.
The report went on to note that Kate Middleton was once overwhelmed at the thought of adding another baby to a family with two very young children, but the source claimed that she’s gotten the hang of it and now isn’t so daunted at the idea of adding another little one.
“I think they both would have been overwhelmed at the thought of a third child a year ago,” the source said, “but now it sounds perfect. They’ve both always wanted a big family.”
But when it comes to the rumors surrounding Kate Middleton, it’s often best to take the reports with a big grain of salt. Duchess Kate has been a very popular target for tabloids, with near-endless reports that she is pregnant and others claiming that her marriage to Prince William is falling apart.
These reports are almost always based off quotes from unnamed sources and have turned out to be false on nearly every occasion outside of the two times that Kate Middleton has actually been pregnant — though this may just be a case of persistence paying off and the fake stories eventually coinciding with a real pregnancy.
In fact, just within the past months, there have been separate reports claiming that Duchess Kate is expecting twins and that she and Prince William are headed for divorce.
That divorce report, from In Touch magazine, claimed that the royal couple was going into counseling to deal with the problems that came from living under an intense media spotlight.
“Their issues are on an even bigger scale, and they’re constantly arguing at the moment about the pressure Kate is under, William’s attitude about it and how to raise their kids,” the source said via Celeb Dirty Laundry. “They’re going through a very rocky patch.”
If the rumor of another baby for Kate Middleton turns out to be true, it could be the result of some persistence on the part of family members. There have been reports dating back several months that Duchess Kate and Prince William are being pressured into having a third baby, with Kate’s mom leading the way.
The Hollywood Gossip previously reported that Carole Middleton, who has taken a very active role in helping raise the royal grandchildren and pushing Kate away from some royal traditions, is also pressuring Kate and William into having a third baby.
“That’s right, Kate’s mom – not any member of Prince William’s royal family – is the one urging the Duchess of Cambridge to keep crankin’ ’em out.”
“Her first two pregnancies captivated the world, stimulated the British economy hard and generally made Kate and all things close to her look swell.”
If the rumor that Kate Middleton is planning to get pregnant again is true, then those plans will have to wait at least a little while longer. Kate and William are set to go on a royal tour of Canada that starts this month and runs through the beginning of October.
“They are really looking forward to seeing other parts of this beautiful country and having the opportunity to meet many more Canadians along the way,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson said via the International Business Times.

But even that story may have contained a hint about the rumors surrounding Kate Middleton and Prince William. It noted that the royal couple has no other travel planned after they return from Canada, a hint that the pregnancy plans could be real.
