Bella Hadid’s Model Diet: Protein-Packed Shakes And Exotic Dishes

Bella Hadid looked absolutely stunning when she stepped out on the red carpet for the GQ Man Of The Year Awards in London on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

According to HollywoodLife.com, the 19-year-old model wore a nude off-the-shoulder Hugo Boss gown designed by Jason Wu. Hadid’s evening gown featured a thigh-high slit and a plunging neckline that showed off her cleavage. Hadid complemented her look with gold ankle-strap sandals, a diamond necklace, and diamond rings. She wore her dark brown hair glossy and straight with it parted in the middle.

At the event, Hadid picked up the award for Model Of The Year, in which she thanked her mom Yolanda Foster. Since Hadid is one of the most popular models and It girls of the moment, it seems like everyone wants to know her secret to looking good. Senior Editor Hallie Gould of Byrdie tried out Hadid’s diet and explained the process in her article titled, “I Ate Like Bella Hadid for 7 Days, and This Is What Happened,” reported M2Woman. Apparently, Hadid loves having her fill of protein-packed shakes.

“14 servings of the Lean Body Protein Shake, an easily absorbed, hypoallergenic mix of protein and amino acids to provide core nutrients your body needs to establish overall health … With those came conveniently packaged supplements to provide the nutrients necessary to improve liver and kidney function and support overall cellular detoxification. It also contains a fish-oil formula to support mental and emotional well-being, as well as hair skin and nail health,” says the article.

Hadid also eats a protein bar along with her protein shake. In addition to her breakfast, Hadid takes probiotic and magnesium supplements to help with digestion, relaxation, and muscle function. For both lunch and dinner, she will either eat raw or steamed vegetables or soup with extra-virgin olive oil and a detox support pack. And before Hadid goes to bed at 10 p.m. each night, she will take three magnesium tablets and two probiotic capsules.

Hadid’s modeling career involves a lot of traveling, so she has to make sure she stays on top of her model diet. Fortunately, all that traveling allows her to eat healthy exotic dishes, reports Foods 4 Better Health. Last month, Hadid posted a photo on Instagram that appears to be a sushi meal, so she is still able to enjoy the foods she loves and try out new dishes, despite her ongoing struggles with Lyme disease.

On Monday, Aug. 29, Hadid took to Snapchat to give her fan a glimpse into her ongoing struggle battle with the autoimmune disorder. She shared a photo of her arm hooked up to an IV drip with the caption, “Everyday,” reports Us Weekly.

She also adds ice cream and pizza to her diet. That same month, she shared a photo of herself enjoying an ice cream cone. She has also documented the many times she’s ate pizza, claims Elle Australia. Hadid is known not to exercise much. Instead, she enjoys running, yoga, Pilates, and walking around New York City, according to another Foods 4 Better Health report. Since she doesn’t follow a strict fitness routine, Hadid will try to get 15 minutes of cardio each day.

In a profile with Women’s Wear Daily earlier on this year, Hadid admitted that her diet allows her to eat pizza.

“My diet is pizza. I promise you, it’s like every day,” she admitted. “Or burgers, french fries, grilled cheeses.”

She also admitted that she’s more relaxed than the typical model when it comes to working out. But that’s probably because Hadid is still young and has a fast metabolism.

“I’m not really a big ‘working out’ person, but I definitely like to do cardio when I do. I guess I run sometimes, drink green juices once a week.”
