Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter to defend her mother’s appearance on Dr. Phil. Lilo called the popular doctor a fraud and indicates he behaved like a bully. She called him out on allegedly taking advantage of a woman at her most vulnerable state. The actress may have her own pressing problems, but she still found the time to speak out in support of her mom, Dina.
During a recent interview with Dr. Phil, Dina Lohan appeared to some to be drunk, but the movie star’s mom swears that she was not drinking or stoned during the television segment, according to TMZ . Dina placed the blame on her less than stellar interview not on booze, but on selective editing, the New York Daily News reports. The episode shows Lilo’s mother appearing to be a bit confused at times and behaving in a manner which may viewers considered bizarre.
In a promo clip for the taped episode, Dina’s ex-husband Michael Lohan asked the learned Dr. Phil if his guest had been tipping back a glass or two before taking the stage.
Dina Lohan had this to say during a TMZ interview about the now infamous Dr. Phil segment:
“I don’t care what it looks like. I’m fine and I don’t care what anyone says. All people saw was two minutes edited of an hour long interview. Of course they cut it to make it interesting. That’s their job. I don’t blame them for doing that. Some of the comments were taken out of context but I’m fine. I’m fine.”
Lindsay Lohan’s mom claims she has always been a good parent who has been there for her four children, including the most famous one of the bunch. Lilo’s Twitter post bashing Dr. Phil appears to support Dina’s claims and indicate a loving relationship between the two women.
