Nick Viall’s Time On ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Helped Secure Spot As ‘Bachelor’: Find Out The Details

It is almost time for Bachelor in Paradise to be over and it has already been announced that Nick Viall will be the next guy on The Bachelor handing out roses. It really did look like Luke Pell would be picked, but at the last minute, they chose Nick Viall. E! News shared why Nick Viall ended up getting picked over Luke Pell after his time on Bachelor in Paradise. Nick has won over the fans this season.

One source explained saying, “Nick is a low-key and chill to work with. He also had a great edit this season on BIP.”

Another source went on to say, “As Paradise started airing, he became a massive fan favorite. He’s the villain who became a hero. It became a comeback story that was irresistible.”

Nick did do a great job of making the fans like him this season even though some of them used to hate him.

Chris Harrison was even someone that thought that Nick Viall was a great choice. Chris said, “They liked what Nick brings to the table. He’s a little older, more mature. It will be a very different season than, say, [Ben Higgins’]. He’s comfortable being himself around women. He’s not afraid to have real conversations.”

Chris and Nick know each other pretty well considering they have been on the show a few times together. Hopefully, when Nick Viall is The Bachelor this season, it will be his last time because he will finally find love.

Luke Pell and Chase McNary were both being looked at as possibly getting the job, but in the end, they picked Nick Viall over them to get the job. Luke and Chase both went to social networks apologizing to fans that they were not going to be the one on television in January.

Bustle shared that fans have a lot of feelings about the fact that Nick Viall is The Bachelor. Some are thrilled by the idea of Nick having the job, and others are not okay with it at all. Evan Bass shared his thoughts saying, “Guys, Nick is the bachelor and I am beyond happy. So proud of him for being amazing. He deserves this.”

E! Online revealed that ABC is speaking out, and they are certain that Nick Viall will find love this season on the show. ABC executive Robert Mills spoke out about it all.

“I think part of his charm that’s really come out on Bachelor in Paradise is he’s so great with the girls, and not as a romantic interest to all of them, but almost as a big brother or good male friend. And you see he’s not really cut out for Bachelorette, where sometimes it’s like if you’re not a bro, you’re not necessarily gonna fit in.”

Robert went on to explain that this all did happen because of everyone loving Nick Viall on Bachelor in Paradise. He shared the details.

“We started seeing people say, ‘I can’t believe this, God help me, I like Nick,’ when Bachelor in Paradise started airing. Certainly someone who had gone on Bachelorette twice, was the runner-up and then had gone on Bachelor in Paradise, that just didn’t seem like something that was even in the realm of comprehension. But there was a lot of, ‘I really like him, and I can’t believe I’m saying this.'”
