‘Supernatural’ Season 12 Spoilers: Some Allies Will Turn Into Enemies — Multiple Villains Teased

Supernatural Season 12 spoilers are coming in more frequently, especially as the premiere date gets closer. Fans are wondering what will happen with the Winchester brothers and the other characters when the long-running series airs new episodes. There are some new spoilers, and it is being teased that some allies will turn into enemies.

Spoilers for Season 12 of Supernatural are below. If you do not want to know what will happen on the television show, then stop reading now.

On the season finale of Supernatural, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) seemingly was shot. However, sneak peek photos reveal that he isn’t dead, at least not yet. The Men of Letters have kidnapped him in Supernatural. Season 12 spoilers reveal that he will be threatened with a blowtorch. Sam and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) are known to be able to get out of nearly any situation, but how will Sam escape or be rescued? That information is not known yet, but there are hints, and it is clear that he does get free eventually. Showrunner Andrew Dabb gave a little tidbit about Toni Bevell (Elizabeth Blackmore) and the British Men of Letters to TV Line.

“Toni is very against Dean and Sam and has studied them and has very strong opinions about them, [which are] not positive.”

However, Dabb also hinted that there are others in the British Men of Letters who are interested in dealing with the Winchesters in a different way. This could lead to a compromise, and this might be how Sam will be let go. At least, that is what it is sounding like.

A fan asked Entertainment Weekly for some details on what is coming next in Supernatural Season 12. Spoilers from the website reveal that there are multiple villains, which viewers already knew. Not only is there Lucifer and the Men of Letters, but there are others as well. What fans may not have been counting on is the showrunner teasing that some allies will turn into enemies. This doesn’t sound good, and it makes one wonder which characters will betray Sam and Dean.

“At the beginning of the season, Lucifer’s still out there. You’ve got the British Men of Letters, and you’ve got a couple other players. It’s less Sam and Dean having to go up against one enemy and it’s more Sam and Dean, especially as the season progresses, feeling they’re surrounded by enemies, some of whom may be people they have viewed as allies up until this point.”

With the resurrection of Sam and Dean’s mother, Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith), how will that mix things up? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, sneak peek photos reveal that Dean, Castiel (Misha Collins), and Mary are attacked. Even though she has been dead for quite some time, Mary seems to not have forgotten how to fight. Many believe that she will be an asset to the Winchester brothers and will help them fight. However, some Supernatural fans say there is something suspicious under the surface. There is more to the story, and there has to be some sort of consequence or issue, but it’s just something that can’t be pinpointed yet. Of course, this could be completely off base. Maybe she really was a gift and there will be no price to pay.

In a separate report from Entertainment Weekly, it was announced that Castiel’s past would be explored in a standalone episode. Over the years, fans have received little pieces of information, but a whole picture is still missing. This special episode might provide some answers about the character.

What do you think is going to happen with Sam, Dean, Mary, Misha, and the other characters? Which allies do you think will betray the brothers? What kind of compromise will be made between the British Men of Letters and the Winchester brothers? Fans don’t have to wait too much longer. The CW will air the Supernatural Season 12 premiere on October 13.
