Lindsay Lohan Gets Interviewed On The Set Of ‘Liz & Dick’

Now that we’ve gotten to see the first look of Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor, here comes an inside look of a behind the scenes featurette of the anticipated acting return for Lindsay Lohan in Lifetime’s Liz & Dick. Airing through Extra, the cameras take the viewers behind the scenes of the quick shoot and into the lives of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Of Liz & Dick, Lindsay’s co-star Grant Bowler who plays Richard Burton, said the film is about, “the tumultuous love affair of Richard Burton and Liz Taylor. it was the star of the exploitation of celebrity.”

Of course being the center of fodder for the media is something Lindsay Lohan is extremely familiar with. Describing Liz & Dick and the role the media plays in it, Lohan said,

“The film arches over their entire lives and how they had to go throuh life living in the public eye and how that could tear people apart. I’m a huge Elizabeth Taylor fan and I relate to her on a lot of levels. Living in the public eye, dealing with the stress of what other people say whether it’s true or not.”

Lohan continued:

“I personally understand Liz because you’re living your life for everyone to see… living in the public eye. Dealing with the stress of what other people say, whether it’s true or not. You get to a point where you become numb to it and you just live your life the way that you feel you need to live it.”

For those who have doubts about Lindsay’s ability to embody the sassy Elizabeth Taylor, Bowler said, “She’s pretty much Elizabeth Taylor reincarnated.”
