Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton’s Wedding Planning Continues As Report Claims She’ll Design Her Own Wedding Dress

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have yet to announce news of an engagement, but already, Stefani is said to be planning to design her very own wedding dress for their allegedly upcoming nuptials.

According to a new report, Gwen Stefani, who has been involved in the world of fashion for years, is taking matters into her own hands when it comes to her wedding dress and hopes to create something magical for her big day.

“[Gwen Stefani] is designing her wedding dress herself,” a source revealed to Life & Style magazine for their September 5 issue, according to a report by Hollywood Life on August 25.

It will be “in off-white or light blue,” the source added.

When Gwen Stefani married her first husband, Gavin Rossdale, in 2002, she was wearing a pink dress designed by Dior’s John Galliano. The beautiful pink gown was deemed iconic after Gwen Stefani walked down the aisle at the Covent Garden in London and now resides in the Victoria and Albert Museum’s collection.

Gwen Stefani’s wedding dress was certainly one to remember, but when it comes to the 46-year-old singer’s marriage, she may want to forget. Although Stefani got three beautiful children, sons Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2, out of the relationship, her marriage to Rossdale ended in turmoil after he was allegedly caught cheating on her with their former nanny, Mindy Mann.

In November, three months after Gwen Stefani confirmed her divorce from Rossdale, a source told Us Weekly that the Bush frontman had been caught cheating on his wife with Mann. According to the report, the alleged couple was involved in a years-long affair right under Stefani’s nose. However, after confronting Rossdale with the claims after learning of the relationship from a staff member, Rossdale denied he and Mann had done anything outside of flirting, and for months, he and Gwen Stefani attempted to mend their marriage.

At this point, there is no confirmed wedding date for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s possible ceremony, but according to a new report, Gwen Stefani will be getting to wear her wedding dress while marrying Shelton over the holidays.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton “plan to wed at his Oklahoma ranch around Christmas,” a second Life & Style report revealed, also via Hollywood Life.

According to Hollywood Life, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are expected to announce their engagement sometime around her October birthday, but according to Life & Style magazine, the announcement may actually happen much sooner due to an alleged suggestion by Stefani, who wants to break the news ASAP.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been dating for nearly a year. The couple, who fell in love after going through divorces around the same time while filming The Voice Season 9, publicly confirmed their relationship in November and have been traveling together ever since. Although Gwen Stefani is currently busy with her “This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour,” her boyfriend has been spotted regularly at her shows around the country and earlier this month, they shared a series of SnapChat clips from his ranch in Oklahoma.

As Gwen Stefani continues to tour North America, Shelton is in the midst of filming on the 11th season of The Voice. While Gwen Stefani will not be seen during the upcoming installment of the NBC singing competition, he will be joined by a couple of other ladies, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys, when the series begins airing next month.
