Could Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston be breaking up after just over two months of dating?

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston haven’t been seen together for some time and according to a new report, the singer recently unfollowed her boyfriend on social media.

“It was just a week ago that we were regaling you with the tale of Tom Hiddleston’s new Instagram account — and his newest famous follower, one Taylor Swift! And, well, here we are a week later and it appears Swift has unfollowed Hiddleston on the social network already!!” Perez Hilton revealed to readers on August 21.

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend just joined Instagram earlier this month and while he wasn’t initially following anyone, he eventually became one of Swift’s many followers.

Following Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s debut as a couple on June 14 on a beach in Rhode Island where they were seen kissing and wrapping their arms around one another, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston made a couple of appearances on Instagram. In addition to posing alongside two other couples, including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, on the Fourth of July, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were seen on the beach together as they celebrated the holiday with friends.

Although Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have been busy on different continents in recent weeks, a second report which followed Perez Hilton’s proclamation, shot down the report claiming Swift never unfollowed her boyfriend.

“[Taylor Swift] never unfollowed Hiddleston,” Gossip Cop confirmed. “Both the singer and the British actor continue to follow each other.”

After going public with their romance in June, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston traveled to a number of countries, including Italy, the U.K. and Australia before being spotted together in Los Angeles, where they enjoyed a dinner date in Santa Monica.

In recent weeks, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have faced a number of rumors in regard to their future, some of which claim they are headed for a breakup and others of which claim they could soon become engaged. Weeks ago, a source spoke to Us Weekly, claiming Hiddleston was preparing to propose to Swift.

Life with boyfriend Hiddleston “has been a dream come true” for Swift, a source told the magazine. “He’s so romantic, classic and chivalrous, and he’s doing everything right.”

The source also claimed Swift wouldn’t hesitate to say, “Yes,” to Hiddleston’s reportedly upcoming proposal.

In the meantime, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are said to be preparing for their red carpet debut at next month’s Emmy Awards, where Hiddleston is being recognized for his work on The Night Manager.

“Tom normally doesn’t like his public life overlapping with his private life, but he is so happy with Taylor that it’s the perfect time,” a source told The Sun, according to a report by The Mirror on August 20.

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have faced backlash in recent months due to their relationship starting just weeks after Swift’s split from Calvin Harris, but apparently, the couple isn’t shying away from their romance and is excited to make their relationship red carpet official in the coming weeks.

“While the Emmys may be about celebrating the best shows on television, the organizers that weekend are looking for just one show – [Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston],” the report continued. “The Emmys red carpet itself would give them the most publicity, and organizers have made it clear to Tom and his reps that she is more than welcome to join him.”
