Ryan Gosling And Rachel McAdams Concentrate On Movies As Wife Eva Mendes Focuses On Baby Daughters In 2016

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have come a long way since The Notebook. Since then, he has delved into high-quality indie movies like Drive and Blue Valentine, and she got her big nod when Spotlight won the Best Picture at Oscars 2016. While these to ex co-stars are eager to work on their film careers, it looks like his wife Eva Mendes is happy to be concentrating on rearing their baby daughters.

Unlike her baby daddy, Eva Mendes maintains an Instagram. Her latest posts have been about the makeup brand and fashion line that she is endorsing.

In fact, the 41-year-old actress has been leaning more and more towards these beauty endeavors as opposed to movies. Her Instagram is primarily to advertise her business efforts and she has not been in front of a screen for a long time.

In an interview she did with Latina recently, Eva finally revealed details about her baby daughters that she had been keeping close to herself.

“My grandmother’s name is Amada, and Esmeralda Amada is the name of our oldest,” she said. “We had a few names picked out for our new baby, and when she was born, we didn’t feel like those names were her. We came up with a few more, even that morning, and tried them out. We were like, ‘What about Viviana?’ But we just kept going back to Amada. In true Latin fashion, we reuse names all the time.”

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have kept their family life so under wraps that the public didn’t know about their daughters until months after they were born. Even after the delivery, they were never seen in public.

But now, it looks like the Hollywood couple is opening up to the idea of making their family life more public. Before the Blade Runner 2 actor relocated his family to Budapest for his filming, he took his first daughter Esmeralda to Griffith Park, a very famous public space in Los Angeles.

“Ryan Gosling, 35, looked the very picture of a doting dad as he took his first offspring, 21-month-old Esmeralda, for a day of bonding at a park near his Los Angeles home on Saturday,” reports Daily Mail. “The Hollywood heart-throb – who shares two children with actress Eva Mendes – stepped away from his big screen duties to enjoy a trip to popular Griffith Park, where they rode the Southern Railroad.”

Eva Mendes happily moved her budding family to Czech Republic, not having any film commitments. She was spotted taking a walk in the nation’s capital, seeming more relaxed as she is out of Hollywood’s glare.

“The 42-year-old actress appeared to show little sign of having given birth just six weeks ago, as she stepped out looking svelte in a floral black-and-green trouser suit on Thursday afternoon,” reports Daily Mail. “The We Own The Night star attracted admiring glances from passers-by as she strode through the lobby of a West Hollywood, California, building looking as glamorous as ever.”

As for Rachel McAdams, she is still going strong in Hollywood. After her success in Spotlight, she played Christine Carter in the Marvel superhero flick, Doctor Strange.

“Rachel McAdams surely wowed the crowd at Comic-Con on Friday when she came to discuss the film with its fans. The 37-year-old actress showed off her impossibly toned legs in a long sleeve, netted dress that featured a ruffled bottom.”

When Ryan and Eva’s daughters grow up, do you think Eva Mendes will regret not having taken her film career more seriously? Or do you think she is done with movies for good? Let us know in the comments below!
