‘Days Of Our Lives’: Will Maggie Walk Again? Victor’s Arrest Comes At The Worst Time And More ‘DOOL’ Spoilers

Days of Our Lives fans love Maggie, who is portrayed by Suzanne Rogers. She has been on the NBC soap opera for years and is one of the most kind-hearted characters on the long-running series. However, the past few months have not been kind to Maggie. Viewers are wondering if she will ever walk again. Also, find out why Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) arrest comes at the worst time and more DOOL spoilers.

Days of Our Lives spoilers are ahead. If you do not want to know what will happen on the NBC soap opera when it returns after the Olympics, then stop reading now.

Maggie has not been having an easy time lately. First, Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) poisons her to get back at his brother. In order for Victor to get the antidote, he had to give up everything. However, Suzanne Rogers’ character was left unable to walk. Then, she found out that Deimos now owns their mansion, got their money, and even Victor’s businesses. Thankfully, they do have a roof over their heads, but Victor was humiliated.

However, that isn’t all that Maggie has gone through. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) went to California and brought Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) back to Salem. She was the daughter Maggie gave up. It was difficult for her at first, but once she started to bond with Summer, she discovered that the Salem newcomer was just a con artist. Just as suddenly as she arrived, Summer left and wouldn’t even give Maggie a hug goodbye. Maggie is also dealing with her husband changing and doing things that shock her. It is putting a strain on the marriage and is really affecting Maggie emotionally.

The Days of Our Lives character did receive a piece of good news. Deimos, the same man that put her in a wheelchair, has brought in a surgeon to operate on Maggie. He thinks that she might be able to walk again. However, when Maggie is in the hospital, she receives more bad news. Victor gets arrested for conspiracy to kidnap Brady and Theresa Donovan’s (Jen Lilley) son, Tate. As seen in the NBC preview clip below, he is arrested and thrown in jail. Will the writers continue to hurt Maggie, or is there some light at the end of the tunnel?

Most fans believe that Maggie will walk again, so that is good news for the Days of Our Lives character. However, it won’t happen right away. After the surgery, Maggie will have to work hard and attend physical therapy. If she does walk again, there is no telling how long Maggie will remain in a wheelchair, but viewers would love to see Maggie walk around Christmas. It would be an amazing holiday gift to herself and everyone else if it happened around that time.

As for Victor’s arrest, it happens when Maggie is in the hospital, according to Soap Opera Digest. It isn’t clear if Maggie is preparing for surgery or has just gotten out. Based on how she is surrounded by family and friends, including Deimos and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), it is probably after the surgery. What horrible timing for Victor’s arrest. Maggie is going to need help following the surgery, but Victor won’t be there. Not only that, but it will just be more emotional turmoil for the Days of Our Lives character.

However, Victor will insist that he is innocent and is being framed by Deimos, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. Fans are not sure what to believe. On one hand, Deimos spent 30 years in prison for a crime he did not commit, and it was because of Victor. On the other hand, he does seem to be trying to put revenge behind him in order to impress Nicole. Eventually, it appears that Victor will be released because the preview clip shows him at Brady and Theresa’s wedding.
