Justin Bieber Won’t Let Selena Gomez Apologize For Bashing Sofia Richie: Inside His ‘Love Fest’

Love supposedly means never having to say you’re sorry, but in the ongoing war between former lovebirds Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, only the Biebs’ new gal pal, Sofia Richie, seems to understand that philosophy. Ever since social media exploded over Selena’s snarky response to Justin’s threat to his followers over their bashing of Sofia, Gomez has attempted to apologize, sources told TMZ.

However, the Biebs refuses to allow his former girlfriend to issue a formal apology for slamming his new romantic relationship with Richie, according to the insiders. And although she has repeatedly been attempting to contact him, Justin is not responding to the pop music princess.

Why is the “Sorry” singer acting so icy to someone with whom he was once so close? The Biebs reportedly feels that Gomez refuses to let go of him and is repeatedly seeking ways to push herself into his business, say the sources.

And the zingers from Justin don’t stop there. He reportedly finds it ironically entertaining that Gomez dared to attack his threat of quitting Instagram after she issued the same warning previously, with the insiders describing it as two-faced behavior and noting that she pushed him to the point of no longer caring for her.

“[Bieber is] very over [Selena].”

As for the attempt that Gomez made at an apology, confessing on Snapchat that her remarks about his relationship with Sofia were “selfish and pointless,” it’s “too late” to say she’s sorry, according to the Bieber insiders.

Amid the ongoing social media battle, Richie is happily enjoying her romance with her superstar boyfriend, reported the Daily Mail.

Sofia was recently seen at the receiving end of affection from the Biebs, with the shirtless 22-year-old singer sweetly smooching his 17-year-old model girlfriend in a park. After Justin kissed her cheek and the top of Richie’s head, he received a kiss in turn from his gal pal before embracing Sofia again.

Richie, who will celebrate her 18th birthday at the end of August, walked by Bieber’s side in the park. Her model-perfect outfit consisted of a long coat in leopard print, with matching shorts and shirt beneath. The crooner opted for his traditional khakis, pulled down at one point to flaunt his Calvin Klein underwear (one of his many gigs is to serve as a spokesperson for the brand).

And for those who wanted more confirmation from Sofia that the romance was real, Richie headed to Snapchat to sing his new single “Let Me Love You” with DJ Snake. Her lip-sync success was promptly tweeted out on Twitter.

Sofia is doing double-duty on social media ever since Justin blew up and deleted his Instagram account after his online battle with Selena. Ignoring the war, Richie has kept her photos showing her romance with the singer.

And while the two people who once were known as Jelena bashed it out, Sofia did not respond to their war, even though Gomez had included Richie in her attack.

“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only.”

Bieber’s response revealed his view that his former girlfriend exploited him to turn up the spotlight on herself.

“It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way,” he slammed back.

Sofia and the Biebs originally jump-started rumors of a romance when they were seen canoodling on August 5 in Laguna Beach, California. And although a source close to Bieber confirmed to People that he is enjoying a “love fest” with Richie, the insider also predicted that the romantic bubble in which the two are now living will soon be popped.

“Sofia and Justin are basically on a love-fest right now, but it’s virtually impossible where he’s at in his life and career for anything to last with these girls.”

The two have jetted to Japan, canoodled in a park, and spent time together at his house in Toluca Lake as well as in Laguna Beach, another source told People.

As for any impact on Richie when it comes to all these social media wars, the overall effect has been to bring her closer to her crooner boyfriend, according to Hollywood Life’s insider.

“[Richie] and [Bieber’s] bond has strengthened since his social media situation.”

Rather than make it seem that he was choosing Richie over his Beliebers, the hitmaker’s intention was to show Sofia just how much he cares for her.

“He used his issues with his Instagram to prove to her that she is important to him and that his intentions with her are sincere. Sofia has felt protected by him by every way he has stuck up for her and as a result they feel closer than ever,” added the insider.
