Taylor Lautner, the American actor and model, will be joining Season 2 of Scream Queens, Fox’s comedy-horror series that focuses on a murder mystery in which a serial killer terrorizes various characters. Taylor Lautner will be playing the role of Dr. Cassidy Cascade in the second season of the show, which is now set in a hospital where some mysterious medical cases are under scrutiny.

Apart from joining series regulars like Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Lea Michele, Taylor Lautner will also be seen acting alongside John Stamos, Oliver Hudson, and Keke Palmer. And the actor appears to be enjoying his time during the filming of the show, as he was recently spotted attending the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala at the Dodger Stadium along with co-star Lea Michele. According to Just Jared, the duo had just wrapped up their daily shoot of Scream Queens before heading to the event that featured a Fleetwood Mac concert.

Taylor Lautner’s character in Scream Queens is known to be suffering from a strange medical condition that is yet to be disclosed to the media. Recently, Taylor Lautner gave his fans a rare trip down memory lane when he posted throwback photos that showed his 7-year-old self perfecting his karate skills alongside Mike Chat. Another photo shows a 16-year-old clean-shaven Taylor heading to the gym. According to Yahoo Celebrity, the photos posted on the Twilight actor’s Instagram reveal that Taylor Lautner developed his trademark six-pack abdomen as a young child.

The throwback photos seem to be inspiring the actor to stick to his workout routine so that his ripped body continues to amaze his fans just like it did in Twilight, the movie that helped Taylor to achieve almost instant celebrity status.

Since achieving stardom, Taylor Lautner has been romantically linked with several female celebrities, perhaps most notably Taylor Swift. Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift were considered a perfect pair by fans, and their relationship received plenty of media coverage. However, the whirlwind romance collapsed miserably, and the two broke up in December of 2009. True to her tradition, Taylor Swift apologized to Taylor Lautner by writing the song “Back to December,” a remorseful song that was penned a couple of months after they broke up.

However, Taylor Lautner seems to have no painful feelings about the short-lived relationship, which became evident when fellow actor John Stamos teased him about the romance, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
