JoJo Fletcher’s romance with Jordan Rodgers didn’t last long. Only a few weeks have passed since The Bachelorette finale, yet Fletcher insists that Rodgers is only in the relationship for fame. Are they already splitting up?
According to Reality TV World, an insider revealed that Fletcher was more than unhappy when she found out about Rodgers’ true intentions.
“[Fletcher] told friends that she thinks he’s a ‘fame-seeking jerk,'” the insider shared.
The Bachelorette couple has fought off breakup rumors ever since Fletcher handed Rodgers her final rose. For Rodgers, fans have long questioned his motivations for being a part of the reality show from the start.
“Jordan wanted fame and press from the get-go,” the source stated. “Literally, the night before leaving, he said he was going on the show as a PR move.”
Even Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend, Brittany Farrar, bashed him for lying about why their romance ended.
Movie News Guide reports that Rodgers told Fletcher that his romance with Farrar didn’t work out because of his commitment to football. However, Farrar claims that they parted ways because the former NFL quarterback cheated on her.
Now, it looks as though Rodgers’ relationship with Fletcher is headed down a similar road. The only difference is that Fletcher is willing to stay with him to avoid public embarrassment.
“But she knows that she and Jordan do not have a future together,” the source added.
According to Life & Style Magazine, Fletcher confronted Rodgers about their future together. Unfortunately, things did not turn out like Fletcher hoped.
“JoJo realized Jordan was not in the relationship for the right reasons, and recently decided to confront him about his feelings,” a source told the outlet. “It did not end well.”
Despite the ill feelings and constant fighting, JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers plan to stay together for another year.
“They’ve agreed to stay together for at least a year and transform their relationship into a business deal,” the source explained. “Endorsement deals are already coming their way, and JoJo and Jordan are going to milk them while they can.”
“She and Jordan could potentially be the highest-paid couple from the franchise,” branding expert David Johnson told Life & Style, estimating that they could earn as much as $10 million in the next year. “But they have to act now while the iron is hot.”
If Fletcher and Rodgers are headed for a breakup, then they’ve done a great job at hiding it.
In fact, Hollywood Take is reporting that the couple just moved into their new house in Dallas and shared pictures and videos of their move across the country.
Is this another ploy to make it seem like they are still together, or are they truly in love and ready to get married? Following the trip to Texas, Fletcher and Rodgers appeared at the Bud Light Party Convention, where fans spotted them hanging out with Fletcher’s family.
While Fletcher’s future with Rodgers remains a mystery, she did admit that reading all the breakup rumors was difficult for their relationship, especially early on.
“We’re just excited to be together and be able to show our relationship to people who haven’t been able to see it,” Fletcher revealed to People. “Because it’s been hard. As great as it’s been, it’s also been very difficult, so we just want to take that time to decompress and be ourselves. But I know he’s ready. He’s always trying to elope like every other day!”
At the same time, tje Stir is reporting that Fletcher’s relationship with Rodgers might last longer than most people think.
After all, moving across the country and starting a new life together doesn’t sound like something a struggling couple would do, let alone one on the brink of a split.
Whatever the truth, it is certain that Fletcher and Rodgers will have to endure more breakup rumors in the near future. Whether or not they can withstand the gossip about their relationship is another matter entirely.
