Kim Kardashian Gets Butt Injections: Her Not-So Shocking Revelation

Kim Kardashian is finally admitting to those butt injection rumors. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently came out with her not-so shocking plastic surgery revelation that has been haunting her for years.

Kim Kardashian has been accused of getting either butt implants or injections over the past few years because of her ever-growing booty. Now, the 35-year-old has opened up about getting butt injections, but she claims that it is not to have a larger butt, although that clearly has its benefits. On Monday, Aug. 15, Kardashian revealed during a live-stream on her app and website that she’s gotten butt injections before because of her psoriasis.

“I went to go get a cortisone shot in my butt,” she wrote. “I lived right behind Kitson. One of my neighbors was a dermatologist at Cedars. I go in there and he’s like, ‘There’s one in a billion chance that you will get a huge indent in your butt.’ Of course I get a huge indent on my butt.”

Kim first learned about the skin condition in a 2011 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians when her mom, Kris Jenner, noticed a rash on her leg. So, she explained that the dent, which was picked up by the media, first led to the rumors that she got her famous behind enhanced, as reported by Us Weekly.

“There is a picture of me in Miami wearing an electric blue dress, and another of me walking down Robertson. You see the indent. And I think that’s where the rumor started: ‘She’s had implants.'”

Kardashian then admitted that she still gets the regular injections to help with her psoriasis.

“Every few years I get a cortisone shot. I just got one as my psoriasis was so bad in Vegas,” she concluded.

During the live-stream, she also confessed that her hands are starting to age. Kim said that she plans to see her family’s Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon, Dr. Simon Ourian, to get some work done on them, according to the Daily Mail.

“He said he can do this thing, it just like tightens your hands and preps them for later. How do you guys feel about that? You’d have bright red hands for a few days. I’m a huge laser fan.”

That was obvious when Kardashian previously went to Dr. Ourian to get a laser tummy tuck after her nearly 80-pound weight loss. Kardashian took to Snapchat to document her latest plastic surgery journey. Meanwhile, Dr. Ourian shared a clip of Kardashian’s visit on his official Instagram account.

In the past, Kim has been very tight-lipped about any plastic surgery rumor, including the ones that claimed she got butt implants or injections. Back in 2011, Kim tried to prove that her butt is real by taking a picture of her next to an X-ray of her behind and unveiling it on their reality show, as previously reported on the Daily Mail. She, along with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, went to their family doctor to find a way to prove that her famous behind is 100 percent Kardashian.

“Today I am going to have a butt x-ray to prove to the world it’s real. This is a really crazy request but my sisters have dared me to get an a** x-ray because of all the rumors it’s not real. If I were to have a fake ass, wouldn’t it be dimple free?”

But, a source later told The Sun in 2013 that Kardashian had fat injected into her butt long before she slammed those rumors.

“Kim had lipo on her legs and the doctor moved the fat into her butt. That’s why it didn’t show up on the X-ray.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. Michelle Copeland, who has never treated Kardashian, agrees: “It definitely appears that Kim had her butt augmented. An implant has to be radio opaque to show up on an X-ray, so it’s possible she has a type of implant that would not be detected.”

Now we know that Kim Kardashian regularly gets butt injections, just not for vanity reasons.
