Josh Murray Comments On Nick Viall’s Connection With Jen Saviano On ‘Bachelor In Paradise’

Is Josh Murray actually happy for Nick Viall? On Tuesday night, as the last episode of Bachelor in Paradise aired, Josh tweeted his excitement for Nick over his connection with new arrival Jen Saviano.

Josh tweeted that he’s excited for Nick and Jen, who look great together, and that he’s hoping that they find lots of love together.

Is Josh genuinely happy for Nick or is he just being sarcastic? After all, viewers have seen how, ever since Josh arrived in paradise and promptly took Nick’s love interest, Amanda Stanton, out on a date, there has been animosity between Josh and Nick. Josh made it clear that he didn’t care if Nick had already taken Amanda out on a date and expressed interest in her. Nick in turn questioned Josh’s intent with Amanda, wondering if he was taking her out just to irritate him. When Josh and Amanda returned from their date, Josh had a tense conversation with Nick in which he accused Nick of always bringing drama to situations and told him that his date with Amanda was incredible. So far on paradise, Josh and Amanda have remained practically attached to one another and have continued engaging in some very heavy public displays of affection right in front of Nick.

The Team Nick vs. Team Josh feud was fueled largely by what happened between them during their time on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette. Nick ended up being the runner-up while Andi accepted Josh’s marriage proposal. At the live After the Final Rose special in 2014, Nick shocked everyone by asking, while Josh was backstage, why she made love to him during their overnight fantasy suite date if she was not in love with him. Andi promptly replied that Nick’s question was a “low blow.”

Later, in an interview with RumorFix, Josh bashed Nick over what he revealed.

“To be honest it was very classless and disrespectful and it just shows the type of person he really is. And I don’t associate myself with those kind of people and neither does Andi, so it’s nice that that’s over with now and he’s of no concern to us or our lives.”

As RumorFix reported, prior to the airing of The Bachelorette Season 10 finale episode, Nick Viall was actually caught talking to a friend on the phone while in the airplane about Andi Dorfman’s decision to go with Josh Murray. Nick commented about Josh’s temper and insecurity.

“He just kinda, he just eats, sleeps, and s**ts and like, has a bad temper, and … you know, and… I mean, he’s really competitive, yeah. He’s super emotional, really insecure.”

Yet according to Josh, he’s now genuinely happy for Nick and he has no animosity towards him. When a viewer asked him if there’s “beef” between him and Nick, Josh said that there isn’t from his end.

On Monday night’s episode, Josh was less than pleased with Nick for talking to Amanda Stanton about Andi’s tell-all. After Evan Bass reminded Amanda about what Andi wrote about Josh in her book, Nick, admitting that what Andi wrote about him in her book is mostly true, advised Amanda to consider that what Andi wrote about Josh is true.

Andi’s book, It’s Not Okay, makes some alarming claims about Josh. Andi, whose engagement to Josh ended about nine months after her finale episode, characterized Josh as having a bad temper, jealous, and emotionally and verbally abusive. And shown by an excerpt published on Huffington Post, Andi even wrote that Josh called her a “b**ch” and a “whore.”

“He was good-looking, with an electric smile and the ability to charm anyone, and his affection in public made people believe that he was a loving partner, but by the end of our relationship, it was just a mask covering the control he exerted in private. He had an uncanny way of manipulating situations and conversations to make me feel like the worst person in the world. In his own words, I was not only selfish and unappreciative, but the ‘most miserable person he’d ever met.’ If we didn’t get invited to a red-carpet event, he’d say it was ‘because of my actions with Number Twenty-Five [Nick Viall].’ If I talked to another man, I was a ‘whore.’ If I disagreed, I was ‘argumentative.’ If I defied him, I was a ‘b**ch.'”

Perhaps now with Jen Saviano’s arrival, viewers will see Josh and Nick actually be friendly with one another. On Tuesday night’s episode, Jen, from Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor, arrived and asked Nick out on a date. They went out on a yacht and then went back to the beach for more conversation and a make-out session. Nick, who previously worried about being sent home after Amanda went with Josh, seemed to be into Jen and Jen seemed to be into him.

As their date aired, Jen poked fun of how she told Nick, during their yacht trip, that dolphins are the only mammals to have sex for pleasure. Nick re-tweeted Jen’s tweet.

Jen also made a joke about how many crabs were on the beach when she and Nick were making out and how the show kept showing close-up shots of her breasts.

Jen actually became a big topic of discussion among the show’s viewers when, as the Inquisitr reported, both Josh and Amanda claimed last week that Nick went on Bachelor in Paradise specifically for Jen and told Amanda so. According to Josh and Amanda, Nick told her after the first rose ceremony that they should date other people. Amanda also claimed that Nick didn’t even seem that interested in her during their date together.

Yet according to Nick Viall, that’s not true. As the Inquisitr reported, Nick went on a talk show Monday night and denied Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray’s claim that he went on Bachelor in Paradise specifically for Jen Saviano. Nick also addressed Amanda’s claim that he didn’t show her affection during their off-camera times together. As for whether he left the spin-off coupled up with Jen or anyone else, Nick remained tight-lipped.
