Tom Cruise Allegedly Coming Between Chris Martin And His Girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis
Tom Cruise is in a lot of tabloid reports about his loyalty to Scientology and for not seeing his 10-year-old daughter, Suri, in over three years. Today, he’s being accused of causing problems for a new couple.
Cruise is allegedly coming between Chris Martin and his girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis. An insider claims Cruise and Wallis have ignited a passionate chemistry for the movie they’re filming, The Mummy.
“Tom and Anna are getting on like a house on fire and it’s driving Chris crazy,” a source alleges to Radaronline.
The insider says the pair have so much chemistry that “it’s going to make that movie bank.” There’s a “romantic element” in almost every part of the movie that’s attributed to Cruise and Wallis’ standout performance.
Their attraction is mutual, according to Radar’s source. Cruise, 54, and Wallis, 31, may even work on future projects.
“Tom’s has already put Anna on the top of his leading lady wish-list for his movies going forward,” said the source. “Tom’s completely under her spell.”
The source does say that Tom Cruise would never interfere in another man’s relationship, but if Chris Martin, 39, and Annabelle Wallis ever split up, he would jump at the chance to be with his leading lady.
“Tom would never make a move in a professional situation or with a taken woman,” noted the insider, “but if Chris does pull the plug on Anna, Tom is not going to waste any time asking her out!”

Hello Magazine reports that The Mummy will be a reboot of modern mythology in which Cruise will play Navy Seal Tyler Colt during a mission in the Iraqi desert to find a group of terrorists, and Wallis will play an archaeologist.
Universal Studios released the film’s synopsis, per Entertainment Weekly.
“Thought safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient queen whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension,” the plot reads.
On June 29, Wallis posted on her Twitter account of the cast filming the movie. She’s photographed with Cruise, as well as Jake Johnson (Jurassic World), and Courtney B. Vance (The People v. O.J. Simpson) on set in Namibia, South Africa. She added the caption, “We are so excited to be here!”

Chris Martin’s divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow was finalized in mid-July. They announced their break up in 2014 after 10 years of marriage. Paltrow famously described it as a “conscious uncoupling.” The exes have an amicable divorce. They co-parent their two children, Apple, 12, and Moses, 10. According to People magazine, neither one of them sought spousal or child support from the other.
In spite of Martin moving on with Wallis, Paltrow is no stranger to her ex’s concerts. She was seen at his Coldplay concert in Cannes and again with their kids at a concert he performed at in Scotland.
In the meantime, a lot of speculation has buzzed around Chris getting engaged to Annabelle Wallis now that he’s divorced from Gwyneth. It was fueled by a photo Wallis posted on social media of a sparkly ring on her left finger as she was getting ready to attend a wedding. The couple has been dating since March. There’s been no confirmation that the two are officially engaged.
News on the couple had been scant until rumors surfaced that Tom Cruise was allegedly coming between Martin and Wallis. Will there be more to come on this or will it be just another case of unfounded gossip?
