Taylor Swift May Never Look At Tom Hiddleston The Same Way Again After Seeing This Katy Perry Face Morph

Right now Taylor Swift may see Tom Hiddleston as another chance at writing a love story with a happy ending, but is he really a daydream dressed like a nightmare? An eerie face morph GIF proves that the resemblance between Taylor’s new boyfriend and her mortal enemy, “Dark Horse” singer Katy Perry, is uncanny, especially when Tom is wearing his dark Loki wig.

Sugarscape shared the face morph, writing that the GIF “essentially shows that Taylor is basically dating her nemesis.” As you can see, Katy and Tom have very similar eyes and smiles.

The face morph was created by the Made in Katana production company and shared online during Twitter’s “Taylor Swift is Over” party. As E! News reports, Taylor’s haters threw the social media celebration after her ex, Calvin Harris, complained about Taylor taking credit for writing one of his songs. On July 13, a rep for Taylor Swift confirmed to People that she had written “This Is What You Came For” under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, and the song possibly played a part in her split from Calvin Harris. Taylor was reportedly upset with Calvin for saying that he had never talked to her about the possibility of collaborating on a song together. He also strongly suggested that he had no interest in doing so, even though it had already happened.

“You know, we haven’t even spoken about it. I can’t see it happening though,” Harris told Ryan Seacrest during an April 29 interview.

Calvin was actually promoting “This is What You Came For” at the time of the Seacrest interview. Taylor had planned on keeping their collaboration a secret, but Calvin’s comments were just too hurtful to shake off. After her team spilled the beans about Nils Sjoberg’s true identity, Calvin made it known that he was livid with Taylor for breaking her promise to keep her involvement with the song on the down low. He didn’t exclude Katy Perry and Tom Hiddleston from the narrative in his Twitter rant response to Swift’s big reveal.

“Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” Harris tweeted. “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.”

Harris then proceeded to share his belief that Taylor Swift is the villain in her ongoing feud with Katy Perry.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” he wrote.

As Gawker reports, the Taylor Swift song “Bad Blood” is likely about her beef with Katy Perry. The pop stars’ squabble allegedly started when Katy’s camp convinced three of Taylor’s backup dancers to leave her “Red Tour” for Katy’s “Prismatic World Tour.” Taylor saw this as a deliberate act of sabotage, and she told Rolling Stone that she and Katy became “straight-up enemies” because of the move. Taylor Swift didn’t mention her rival’s name during her 2014 interview with the magazine, but it’s now widely accepted that Katy was the object of her ire.

“She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour,” Swift said. “She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

According to Taylor, she was never sure that she and Katy were friends to begin with.

Luckily for Taylor Swift, Tom Hiddleston came along right when she needed someone to help her get over her latest betrayal. As People reports, she and Tom were spotted dancing together at the Met Gala just days after Calvin Harris uttered his hurtful collaboration comments.

Tom and Taylor may not make sweet music together like she and Calvin did, but it sounds like the Avengers star is thrilled to be dating a singer. As The Inquisitr recently reported, Tom sang the praises of musicians like Taylor Swift while campaigning for his first Emmy. He just has to hope that Taylor never notices how much he resembles her mortal enemy.
