Katie Holmes Reconnects With Joshua Jackson After Tom Cruise Divorce

Katie Holmes is getting back in touch with some of her old Dawson’s Creek pals now that she’s ended her relationship with Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise. The Batman Begins actress touched base with Joshua Jackson, who played her love interest in the hit show, after her divorce.

Jackson talked about his new relationship with Holmes during a recent interview on a Canadian talk show.

“Yeah, actually (we did talk after the divorce). Like any old friend, it was like, ‘Oh, hi how are ya? What’s going on?’ It was very nice.”

Even though Katie Holmes is currently single it doesn’t look like Joey and Pacey are going to get together in real life. Us Magazine reports that Jackson has been dating Diana Kruger since 2006.

But there could be a Dawson’s Creek reunion. The NY Daily News reports that after the show ended several people tried to get the cast back together for a reunion movie. At the time, Holmes was married to Cruise who apparently nipped the idea in the bud.

A source said:

“[Producers] were begging her to sign on for a reunion movie. Tom said absolutely no way and thought going backward would be bad.”

But now that Cruise is out of the picture, maybe Holmes, Jackson, and James Van Der Beek will reunite for a Dawson’s Creek reunion.
