‘Days Of Our Lives’: Why Does Andre Want Chad To Think Abigail Is Dead? [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives is currently not airing due to the Olympics. The soap opera will not return for another week. Even though that seems like an eternity, there are plenty of DOOL spoilers and speculations circulating the Internet. There are also questions about current storylines. For example, why does Andre DiMera want Chad to think his wife is dead?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, DOOL spoilers reveal a lot is going to happen in Salem. Some of the information has to do with Chad DiMera, portrayed by Billy Flynn. After being informed that Abigail Devereaux is dead, he will make some shocking decisions. One of those has to do with his son, Thomas. Apparently, the Days Of Our Lives character will think about dropping the custody case. In his grief, he believes that his son would be better off with Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves).

However, he couldn’t be more wrong. Spoilers from Soap Opera Digest state that Jennifer can’t handle losing Abigail. She checks into a seedy motel and guzzles alcohol while popping pills. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Hope (Kristian Alfonso), and Belle (Martha Madison) find the grieving mother.

That isn’t all that is going to happen with Chad DiMera on Days Of Our Lives. Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) will also tell her boss that she is in love with him. He rebuffs her and she ends up with a broken heart. It isn’t explained why Ciara thinks it is appropriate to share her feelings with Chad while he is grieving Abigail’s death.

As fans know, Abigail really isn’t dead. She is still missing and will return to Salem after Christmas. Marci Miller was chosen to replace Kate Mansi as Abigail Deveraux. Everyone wants to know where Abby went and why she returns. However, a more pressing question is why Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) wanted Chad to believe Abigail was dead. The Days Of Our Lives villain doesn’t do anything unless it will benefit him somehow. So, what is his plan?

That storyline has not been unveiled yet, but Days Of Our Lives fans have theories. One is that Andre wants to regain control of the DiMera estate. Stefano’s money was taken by Sami (Alison Sweeney), who gave a portion to Belle. According to Days Cafe, the DiMera family will get their fortune back. In the meantime, Chad is paying the bills with something. Andre doesn’t just want a piece of it, he wants it all. Watching Chad suffer would be a bonus. His grief will also cause him to make some reckless decisions and to not care about anything anymore. This is what Andre is counting on, for Chad to completely lose it. Then he can swoop in and take control.

Other Days Of Our Lives spoilers include Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) being accused of arranging Tate’s kidnapping. He is arrested and thrown in jail. However, he claims that Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) has set him up. As for Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), she will question Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) about the paternity of her unborn baby. Fans know it belongs to Deimos, but the pregnant singer doesn’t want him knowing that. Will she go with Philip’s plan and pretend the baby is his?

It was also revealed that Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) will want Hope to confess to murdering Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Will she admit to the crime or keep denying it? How will this affect her future? Will Aiden offer not to press charges against Hope or Rafe (Galen Gering) if she marries him?
